  1. i think that this thread should be moved to the wasteland, no one could be that stupid, read the first the post, he's opend him self to a royal thrashing and no one's taking the bait!!
  2. a full motec system exhaust would have made more power.....
  3. id kick in him in the balls, then when he drops, kick him in the face. 2 for the price of 1
  4. have you checked the solendoid connection? the soldenoids are located above the rear diff.
  5. well, the attessa computer has three wries going to/from the ecu. in another thread we were discussing which sensors atessa uses. im 100% sure attessa reads the abs wheel sensors (the attesa computer does after all controll the abs too). are the wheel sensors plugged in? what have been removed from the abs?
  6. it was more like a intraweb fight............ anyways im heading down to nissan to pick up an oil filter, anyone need anything while im down there?
  7. well, looking at the diagrams in the 32gtr manuals, it doesnt show the input from the tps, although there are 3 wires coming from the ecu going to the attesa computer. I cant see what they say as the scanning is pretty bad. also, the attesa computer controlls the abs, therfore the wheel sensors connect into the attessa computer. which i assume means the 4wd system uses the reading from the wheels. steve
  8. thinking about it you may be correct. although as i mensioned above the car barely moves when the front wheels kickin, it totally bogs down. around corners at high speed the ass end swing way out, but it goes the way the front wheels point. quite scarey at first.
  9. thanks for that, ill get it checked out. What do mean by the tip of the iceberg? what else could be wrong? mind you, ive had the WHOLE fton end of the car apart e.g from the firewall forward was removed, clean, painted etc etc. at one stage it was the bare chassis sitting there. the sub frame was also cleaned and painted, but i didnt notice any damage done to it (replaced) the suspensions componenets have also been replaced, so the only thing left is the chaissis. thanks BB! im in perth btw
  10. they said it was me screaming.......
  11. thats ive also been told. one example is in the wet when i take off slow, I ride the clutch alittle and give it a bit of gas get the rear wheels to loose a bit of traction, the torque gauge instantly hits above 40, even though the car isnt even moving (easily under 5kph) it bogs down. so I assume, that would suggest that attesa computer also gets its readings off the abs sensors, as well as the tps. steve
  12. ford laser - familia gtr conversion - been there, and it was great! outside = shit, inside = 200hp@all 4, 3inch cat back, vr4 cooler, 14psi boost. turbos good for around 18psi with full zorst. pity the 4wd boxes are made of rice paper.......
  13. it be enuff to twist the chassis off the starting line!
  14. i took it for a lap, and gave it a bit up a long hill using the tip tronic to change. went good for a NA, the only i didnt like at all was the auto. im not a big fan of auto's and reckon a manual version would piss. mint cars either way.
  15. the biggest problem with driving the gtr daily is not flogging when you feel like it, and also not hammering around your favorate corner cause officer McBacon might be waiting. Steve
  16. hmmm, i wonder? can anyone with a r33/34 gtr pull the attessa fuse, and "drop a banger" on some wet grass and see what happens? or jack up all four and accelerate a litte, then get someone to hold the front wheels to see there is some force? steve
  17. i use my gtr for daily driving, in fact im on the road most of the time, i do half freeway, half city. to be honest its a pain in the ass soemtimes, but when you are entering the freeway and you step on it, its f*kin great! unless theres a cop sitting there waiting....... GET THE GTR! steve
  18. hey i got a r33 gtr motor in my 32, and the apart from the age, the 33 rb26 doesnt have the same problem with the oil pump keyway thing (whats it called?) that the early r32 gtrs had.
  19. oh ok, i thought he want to get the car back on the road? meh i dunno.....
  20. if you can get the shell in good nick for cheap, id personally go for it then upgrade later on in the future. just put in the rb25 and dont remove the gtr stuff, forget the tunring circle and all that crap. save up for a 26 or even build up a 30/26 and eventually youll have a real GTR!
  21. look, fit the rb25 in with the 25 box. no probs. later when you got the cash convert it to gtr running gear...if you want just get the thing on the road in the meantime. the rb26 fits in a r34gtt with out probs, no cutting involved, so i dont see why it wouldnt work the other way. you wont be able to use the 4wd box cause the rb25 sump doesnt have the front diff etc etc. steve
