ye that was my post. the thing is your the 4th r32gtr owner with a tokiko cylinder, so im thinking there must be a stuff up in the translation somewhere, so there for tokiko is for abs cars too.
i really dont know.......
ummm, no a solenoid doesnt trigger. theres a seperate sensor for the power steering idle.
Im assuming the soldenoid cuts the flow of the fluid at high speed, thus cutting the power going to the steering rack.

hey guys,
can some one PLEASE post up some pics (left and right side) of their brake master cylinders?
I need to check out ones for the r32gtr, r33gtst and r33 gtr. also please state if you have abs or not.
thanks!!!
steve
come on guys, does anyone know what the deal is with the tokiko master cylinders?
i though my one was fitted on buy one of the previous owners, but reading another post i saw another r32 gtr with the same cylinder.
problem is nissan gave me a part number from a differant model cylinder (after looking up my VIN)
any help would be good!
steve
thanks for the pic, the cylinder looks exactly like my one.
what year is your gtr?
unless ive gotten it wrong, the shop manual say these cylinders are for non abs skylines.

as for your leak, i have no idea. i had a look inside my cyl and found nothing. it doesnt look like a bolt hole etc
steve

oh ok, just wondering.
anyways, i used meth on my one. might help to get a clean spray bottle and spray the metho directly onto the element. let it dry then spray it again.
you pulled any error codes? might give you a clue? good luck with it.
steve
hang on a minute, you wernt happy with the cars performance so you just started changing random stuff??
have you though about tracking down the exact problem? if there is one?
steve
ye we were having this problem last night, id put the aircon on, but it would get too cold, so id turn it off, but then it woulld fog up after a few mins. its a pain in the ass tuning the aircon on and off every couple of mins.
steve
hey,
i pulled my one apart the othetr day to rebuild it, and so far havnt seen what hole does. its not a bleed nipple, the shop manual doesnt mention anything about it.
steve
p.s if your selling it let me know!
