  2. its possible but it will all have to be customised, and itll cost you more than what your car is worth. steve

  4. also, i just went out adn checked my steering lock and it definetly does NOT lock while the key is in, even in the off position. one the key get pulled out, it clicks, then when you turn the wheel it locks. Steve
  5. dude you arnt going crazy, theres a second post thats exactly the same in a differant section!! i went through it and though the mods cut sik at it, but i guess they havnt spotted the second one. steve
  6. check your mates battery, no doubt itll be in an aftermarket case. the r33's have batteries in the boot, so unless your mate has some weird version, the battery in the boot is an after market install. steve
  7. bump! need one quick!
  8. hey peeps. im after some dot 5.1 fluid but the usual stores dont stock it. anyone got a good source? thanks steve
  9. no, it is possible to do that to any clutch. the night before we put my bros clutch in he though he'd go out and thrash the clutch as much as he could. basicly, he sat there and made it slip for ages, which caused the material to shit it self leaving the rivets there to scratch holes in the pressure plate. he also f**ked up the flywheel (he had a new one to put in anyway) all in all the car wasnt drivable and had to be pushed into the garage. steve
  10. you gotta compete with online companies that are actually located in japan too!

  14. f**k me, i was looking at the r33 shop manual and found out exactly what is what. so i guess i just have to find a brake cyl for a abs r32 gtr, it looks like the stooge that owned my car replaced the master brake cylinder with a non abs unit, which i assume caused it to leak. steve
  15. yeah well another page in the shop manual says that the abs one is made by nabuko.
  16. hey im after a master brake cylinder wiith the word NABCO written on it, off a r32 gtr thanx steve
  17. Hi everyone, my master brake cylinder sprung a leak, so i ordered a rebuild kit from nissan. I gave them my vin number etc to ensure they got the right one. anyways, the parts arived today, and as soon as i pulled my cylinder apart, i noticed they were comletly differant!!!!!! a quick search in the shop manual showed me that the r32 gtr cylinders had 2 differant manuafterers, tokiko and nabuco(nabco). according to nissan and also fast, my gtr was supposed to have the nabuco(nabco), cylinder, but when i looked at my one its the tokiko cylinder! does anyone know if the two are interchangable? the look to be the sane diameter, and the master cylinders look the same, but the secondary cylinders are differant i.e the o ring more forward on one. can anyone offer some adivce?? thanks steve
  18. sounds like it may either be a dead alternator, or the associated wiring. the burning could be the power cable or the alterntor it self. when the alternator dies, your car will run till the battery goes flat, in which time all electrical accessories start doign funny things. get it proffesionally checked out. steve
  19. lol ye
