  1. na, the insulator fits over the pintle, basicly its a ring, that sits between the injector and head Steve
  2. also, both sensors are showing 1.2v when i accelerate, arnt they supposed to stop at 1v? steve
  3. yeah go for the pics with the inbuilt a/d convertors, as they run a lot quicker, and be less comlplicated. but yeah, the timing thing may be an issue, and you defnetly need a way to adjust it. steve

  6. Thats probly cuase you have side feed injectors. The gtr has top feed, and it uses only 1 O ring, and 2 insulators to basically hold it in place. I just rechecked my injectors and i actually need only the bottom insulator. here is a pic of the gtr injectors. Steve
  7. hey guys, I may need to replace my o2 sensors, and was wondering if anyone knew of a aftermarket alternative? R33 peeps can use ones of the el falcons but i read they dont fit gtrs. a search turned up nothing, so can anyone help? thanks Steve
  8. weird, I was under the impression attesa "kicks in" when it senses the rear wheels slipping, by using the abs sensors. steve
  9. there a 2 sets of insulators, one on top and one on bottom, and 1 O ring. The insulators dont get pressed on, then simply slide on without too much force. Will post up a pic. Steve

  11. Hey Matt, Sounds like a great project. I too have thought about designing something simular but have never had the time to sit down and do. What do you plan on using to controll it? I use the PIC micro controller for my projects, and the newer range of controllers are pretty hardcore for their size. good luck steve
  12. hey guys, My 89 R32 GTR has a problem where the front tourque gauge shows a reading, all the time while accelerating. Even if im going in a straight line, real slow and touch the accelertor, the needle goes up between 0 and 10 on the gauge. The attesa works fine, when i do a hard launch, there is little wheelspin before the front wheels kick in and it takes off. (although ive havnt been in abother gtr to compaire) Its shows almost 45 when i do a hard launch in the wet, and she takes off! Ive got 17's all round with brand new 235 tyres on all four sides. The only thing i can think of thats causing the problem is the wheel alignment. Due to a problem i had with my front left caster, i wasnt able to get the alignment done. I think ive fixed the caster problem, but havnt had the time to do the alignment yet. Any help would be great as i dont want to burn out my clutch packs!! Also, I have done the search but found nothing usefull. thanks Steve

  15. i am about to go nutz, cause $15 for a small round bit of plastic is a little bit rediculas. I understand owning a gtr is expensive, but god dam, this is overboard. can anyone help? steve
  16. ive searched for the el sensor and all i could find was it fitted only on the r33. does anyony know a cheap fit for the r32 gtr?? i might need 2 of them, and i kinda need them asap, from perth. thanks steve
  17. how do you find out when the engine was made? is there a function in fast that allows you to input the engine number get out details? im sure my engine didnt orignally come from my gtr, and was just wondering...... my number is 057289A steve
  18. well the results are in, 17L per 100ks, and that granny driving, not double clutching like i should....... i gotta check out the sensors today, would the ecu report busted sensors? or will i have to connect up the multimeter and get a reading. I also have a old dick smith a/f meter i built ages ago, would that give a clue to whats happening? i do roughly 70 k's a day so this is killing me....... steve
  19. lol, its not that alarms and immobs dont cut it anymore, its the way they are installed. if you get a proper installation, it makes it ver hard, and time consuming to by pass it, unless the theif knows exactly where it hidden etc. steve

  24. just called nissan for a laugh, they want $15 for each one!!!!!!!! and i need 12!!!!! it'd be cheaper to buy a new gtr
