hey guys, im installing my blueline alarm, but am having trouble finding a good spot to mount the freaking siren!! its a battery backup unit, and i cant find a secure spot to put it, without fabriacting some sort of bracket. anyone got any good ideas?? i wanted to put it some where hard to get to, e.g to stop people from trying to smash it etc. pics would be nice too thanks steve

hey guys, got a new set of dba 4000's for the ol 32 gtr, i need some new pads. i done a search and found many differant combos, but 2 seemed most popular. so i wanted to know which is the better pad to use, the ebc green stuff or the ferodo ds2500?? both sets are simualr priced. thanks steve

Hey guys after a year and a bit, my gtr will be ready to be complied then licenced. I brought it in under the 15 year rule, and am not 100% sure on what i have to do next. After i get it complied, and checked out by an engineer, do i simply go to the pits and supply the engineers report, and all the documents i got when i imported it? or is there someting else i have to do in between? thanks steve

yeah its 168kw, at the rear wheels. i was just thinking about it last night, and it popped into my head that they are 206kw from factory form. But then i just thought about it again a few mins ago (after a strong coffee) and remebered thats 206kw at the engine. So therefore: drivetrain loss + 16 years of abuse + 200K = lower power reading? did i just answer my own question? steve

hi guys, I got my gtr dyno'ed a couple of weeks ago, and was wondering if the power figure was normal. Its early 89, no doubt 200k+ on the clock. got 225HP at 8psi boost only mods are Apexi pods (no heat sheild) Fuel was caltex vortex (couldnt fill up on bp98 at the time) Its got the stock exhaust, cat, and boost restrictor. I havnt run a compression test or leakdown test yet, and it doesnt seem to be using up oil. so is that figure someting to worry about, or is it normal for a car of that age? Thanks Steve
