hi guys, ive tried searching and brought up millions of pages, so if someone knows where my answer lies, then point me in the right direction. ANyways, i was wondering what the max power a stock rb26 can handle. That is, stock bottom end and stock head, plus factory head gasket. Assuming you upgrade the turbos, fuel pump, injectors, filters, cooler etc. and this is on a 100,000 k engine out a of r32gtr, with a great service history in great condition. And good compression. how long before the rods, crank, pistons shit them selves? thanks steve

hmmm, i thought about that too, but i dont know. e.g the good oil im using is 5w60 (or something like) so would it mix up ok if i put in some gtx3 to flush out the bad oil? whats everyone else doing?? steve

yeah, i spose ill have to unbolt one of the lines and blow the oil out.

hey guys, after reassembling my engine i ran some real cheap shit oil to flush out all the crap, and now i want to change it with the good stuff. i have an extrnal oil cooler, and was wondering if the liter or so of oil still in the cooler will cause any problems? do i have to undo the piping to drain it? or can i alet it mix with the new oil? thanks steve
