  1. Hell yea, gimme your volks Chrome is bad, but shadow chrome etc, the other forms that look fitting are nice... There's a guy up the road from me with chromies on his monaro.. The entire rim is chrome lol, looks like a massive silver dinner plate.. it's ugly. Don't put chrome near your car... unless its shadowcrome etc etc And yea, 20's 19's even 18's are going to compromise your car's drivability and handling if not properly set up with the appropriate suspension... ... Dn't get chrome :
  2. I have no idea what this "noise" is, I'm going to try upload a sound file of my gts, tell me if this "noise" is there... hmmm the file is 40mb lol... How can I make it smaller.. it's a video and soun file.. you don't really need to see the video part tho...
  3. Also.. to answer your question properly... http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ that site compared K & N, apexi, HKS and Blitz... shows pics of the filtration analysis etc.. pretty good read
  4. Hey guys, in the upcoming weeks, I'm interested In getting some springs to lower the car a little ( nothing to make the wheels sit below the arches ) just something like this: Can you recommend me anything in particular? Preferably that is able to be picked up in Sydney. So far I've heard that I should go for whiteline and kings springs. Is there anything I need to look out for inparticular because my car is a gts? Thanks.
  5. I haven't played in ages heh... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5733044300866646599 I watched that and now I feel like playing again lol
  6. I would stick to the better known brands, Apexi, Hks, K&N. Pod filters in general don't give many kilowatts... if any at all.. They just offer a slightly better response through the revs, better effieciency and the sound of induction.
  7. Last night, driving down Anzac Parade, at the last second my mate yells out SH_T! I scan everywhere and see a dog about 10 metres infront ( travelling at 60 ) I just managed to swerve out of the way in the nick of time. Luckily the dog moved away from where I swerved and not into it... Take off from the lights in Taylor Square heading down oxford street, furthest right hand lane. This blonde chick runs out about 20m ahead of me.. I slow down, then out of nowhere this guy just stumbles out within 5-10 metres of me... Luckily I was ahead of the rest of the traffic as I swerved away from him again by under a metre. Went home after that...had a feeling something worse was going to happen.
  8. With an r33gts-t It's going to cost you a bit to keep it reliable at 250+kw... I'm Not saying it won't be reliable, but, you will need to invest quite a bit into it, e/g running costs, parts, fuel. I just don't know what you mean by work horse either? If you mean like as a work car, I think you should just buy a daily, then get something a little cheaper as a weekend, fun car.
  9. Hmmm while people are active, what do you guys think about: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...rch_distance=25 ( 1990 Tommy Kiara's fully rebuilt M18ISNA S13 silvia circult car probably the only one in the world ) Just cause, I'm on my P's with the turbo restrictions ( NSW ) for another two years, and that looks pretty unique, I'm kind of interested in it.. Although the c18de seems like a weak ass thing.. opinions?
  10. Where are the pics of the car?
  11. Some guy was in here a while ago selling mines r33 n/a ecu's...
  12. Well lucky you, there were almost no r32 -25de's when I was looking around for one. I've go a r33 N/a now though.
  13. http://www.japanesesportcars.com/skyline/specs/ Lots and lots of specs on a wide range of skylines.. except the r32gts25 r32 na = 1210kg (coupe) just add a few more kilo's for the rb25...? r33 na = 1310 (coupe) Apparently the r33 rb25de is a little bit more improved though than the 32's rb25..

    Mr Rx4

I would have thought there'd be a crash sooner or later... So many people slowing down to get some room to spool up and go pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, sick bro! With all the cabbies around in there It's like russian roulette all the time though.
  15. Shouldn't your insurance or his look for a repairer? Or are you after someone specifically reputable?
  16. True I would like to see how 17's look.
  17. Ahhh yea, I'm not too fussed about copies, etc.. Just looking to make it more appealing before I eventually get a turbo.. And the perfect set did come up, they were mesiter's in 18's 4 stud, black and polished dish, but someone on ns.com snapped them up >.<
  18. hey guys, I've got a gts, ( four stud pattern ) and finding wheels is pretty difficult in sizes 17,18. I found these below, only they are 17's, some people have told me 17's still look a little too small on 33's, if you have any pictures of 17's and 18's on r33's could you pleast post them up? Below is a pic of my car and the wheels I could pick up on Tuesday, tell me what you think. Hmm new edition.. shadow chrome.. they would stand out well against the colour of my car, without looking out of place. Also there's a whole bunch of other 4 stud patterns from me tp pick from here: http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products.asp?...x=KSpeed+Wheels
  19. Wake Island.... :laughing-smiley-014: Nah I dunno, something small. Preferably no planes. Also, to get the second set of unlocks for each kit, do you need the expansion? or do you need to get all the first unlocks for each kit?
  20. Bf2 here too.. Had a long break for a while though.. Getting back into it tho..
  21. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my god wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Take off dash put on new dash? Cut around the edges make it fit?

Yea, I've got a mate who wants to do this for his 18th.. would be good to get a feel for it before his.. but, do you need to be 18 for this? Cause If so I'm only 17... And by no goggles, are you saying we need to bring our own? No armour either, looks like it would hurt quite a bit.. good fun
