So far it has taken me around 8 hours to get 90% of the pipework complete for mine. There is a lot of measure, mark, measure, fit, mark, measure, weld.... Mandrel bent sections are fantastic. If you do it by hand, make sure you have at least a miter box, and a hacksaw blade that is suitable for high speed steel so that you can get a nice clean and straight cut.

It is easy to do. Make it up yourself. Get some mandrel bends or what you need and go from that.

Not at all. His was classified as a minor defoect. Having said that, it cant be cleared without engineer approval. He was also reported to the EPA.
