For all of you having a little teary about the fact that you want to have the most Hecktic mods for your killah ride, or for you mod list in your signature, If you play with fire, you're gonna get burnt. Eventially you'll get caught and get given a pretty little yellow sticker. It's part of the game. As for the Police congregating around an event or place of business which supports Legal, off street activities, it deters people from doing such activities in a controlled environment. If the Police continue to target people who are trying to do the right thing by taking it off the streets (regardless of whether their vehicle is legal or not), this will encourage people to get back into the organised on street activities. A few years ago, there were extremely well organised street drags in different location ALL over Melbourne. So well organised that there were portable drag style christmas trees and invite only entrance. As far as I know, they have dropped off quite substancially, leaving a whole bunch of muppets to cause havoc like the Noble Park situation.

I would like to thank the committee of the year past. The direction and events that we have all enjoyed has been from the imaginations and hard work of yourselves. Thanks again. It is a tricky track (if you can call it that), with off camber corners with crests with sharp drop offs. Very technical track with plenty of places to have a moment.....

The butterfly if offered as a standard feature, is legal. If you fit it afterwards, it is illegal. So is smaller flange, or a plate with small holes drilled in it.

We have had the Police turn up to an organised club car cruise as we stopped to get some lunch. Basically, any time a large group of cars that look nice and modified etc, will get the attention of someone. It may be a member of the public which is concerned, or a local highway cop wanting to be a part of the action. If you haven't done anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about. If you have a big turbo, aftermarket this and that and the other thing that doesn't comply with the guidelines written by VicRoads, then that is your own problem. In the end, the Police are just doing what they are paid to do.

Anyone who is trying to defend the organized mob style event or lessen the severity and comparing apples to oranges needs to have a look around. Not targeting any members, but this was an Unnecessary and disgraceful act. Anyone who was involved, or attended who was a club member better not promote this piss poor week when alone kind of action. I don't want to hear at anytime about how fantastic or thrilling it was. This is what will keep this kind of thing going. Noble Park Macca's was always going to have something like this happen. Nature of the Beast. SE suburbs kids with time, cars and nowhere to go... It'll slow down when people start getting dead. All it needs is one moron to go through a mob like that and kill 15 people. Not ideal, but it might get the message across. Do I think this is a solution? No. It may even fuel the fire.
