  5. That's called a stud. You may need a M6 or M8 (metric) and go to a bolt shop.
  6. +1, and pump the guards to fit some wide wheels! To remove some weight, take out the Hicas steering, solenoids, rack, lines etc. Titanium exhaust, lexan windows, carbon doors, boot, bonnet, sound deadening, carpet, aircon etc.
  7. Hope all went well. Sorry I couldn't make it. You guys would of been baking! Matt, I'll pm you to confirm for the next one...
  8. AWD system approx 150kg. Plus extra turbo, bigger engine bits, larger intercooler, bigger brakes. There's the extra.... Aluminum front guards and bonnet are a minor weight saving.
  9. I have done a few other things now. Love my new pedals! Master cylinder brace is in. Got a fire extinguisher too. Just gotta mount it somewhere.
  10. Took off?! Ha ha, I was doing 60km around that corner, speed limit is 60 lol. Advisory may have said 25? It's mad!, the 32GTR was the same and I guess you found the car 'stick' like on rails lolz. Thought I might freak out someone by not braking for that tight one.
  11. Yeah, not bad but there were some silly buggers....except us SAU people.
  12. Epic!!! Sloane, see the wasteland thread.
  13. Nice cruise, weather was great. A lot of great cars, people, and the variety! Here's some pics, not all really clear pics due to being dark, but my favorite is the dish on the 355 commodore! And a pretty tight squeeze at the finish! Those that took pics, post em up!
  14. Yep someone did a fast one on it... Just look for a set of brembo's. Vspec R32GTRs came with brembos so there is no chance that they wouldn't of had the brembo brakes ready for the R33's.
  15. Yep love the pics Cass!!! All the cars look so shmick!

  17. Go the bolt on's, that means that it could be easily put back to 'original condition' if needed.
  18. Yeah, the car could pick you up lol! Gonna wash it now as it's a dirty b%$ch.
  19. This is like a garage saurus type lip. I sold it before I had a chance to damage it.
  20. Did the 324mm upgrade on my 32GTR. Loved it, didn't fade like the 296mm setup and had better pedal feel. I had no problem with the inner area not being used. I used this setup with brake deflectors to improve cooling of the discs. Pitty it wouldn't fit under the stock 16's I used project mu ns pads. Pics of mine.
  21. I had a stock RB26 sump lying around and filled it with water a while back. I'm happy to put 6litres of oil in the sump because: It doesn't hit the crank, Nearly level with the top of the sump, so oil is always at the pickup during hard acceleration etc, It works for me. If I had $10k I would dry sump too, but I don't. Good luck with your ground scraping sump extension
  22. Well if you don't ask, you'll never know. I'd be talking to engine builders, and reading books, as forums are not always the answer... Here's some oil management I used, and I've never blown up an RB in 6 years and 140,000kms of 400-480WHP, drags, track days x2 etc. Overfill sump by over 1 litre every oil change. Stock sump. Tomei oil restrictor catch can r33 crank, forged pistons, rods, acl bearings etc R33 GTR oil pump, with oil px reg shim oil returns in head enlarged, you are meant to do the block too. (did a build thread years back) oil cooler proper oil pressure and temp gauges (stock oil px gauge does not react fast enough) No rev limiter banging Seems that continuous high rpm and high boost at tracks days is the hardest on RB's regarding oil staying in the head, and then collecting in catchcan. I did build an engine over 2 years ago on my 32 that had a less than acceptable top compression ring gap to reduce blowby (gap too big), so part of that was my fault.
