  1. That's my engine bay! lol. I have found that it works well. I used to get some oil in the catch can from sustained high rpm/boost when I didn't have the catch can, and that would coat the intake side with oil. No more draining catch can now that it drains to sump. Now that I plumbed it into the dipstick hole, it's great. There is no secondary catch can, the PCV is still setup as per factory, as I did a fair bit of testing in the past and found that the majority of oil comes out of the LH breather (closest to turbos) so I left the other one alone. One of the guys on here didn't have a catch can and he had dramas with oil usage (read oil going into intake and intercooler). A standard car would get away with it, but a modified engine with more boost will push that oil out. We would do an oil change and wonder where 2.5 to 3 litres of the original 6 went!! I organised a catch can for him as I got sick of cleaning AFM's too
  2. Yeah they fitted well.......at the back! not the front.
  3. From a holden??, it comes to mind.
  4. Yeah, just the one's you see on b&s ute specials etc with 4 yacht aerials etc!!!!
  5. Looks like a stick-on from previous owner. If it was say a nismo edition, it would have a plaque on front the cam cover with info, build number, type etc.
  6. For a GTS-T etc they would definitely stick out of the guards, unless you put in some negative camber and stretch tyres.
  7. Fibreglass is correct.
  8. Rear brakes are a little bigger on the vspec2, not the fronts... There is another thread on the different specs. Many that you have already listed
  9. Spotted white R33 with stock wheels driving towards Richmond past the Windsor 7/11 this morning A black R35 GTR at Wisemans Ferry parked in the park, 'jack' plates, nice!
  10. Get it on the roaddddddddddd!!!!!!!!! I know your itchin. And I want to drive it!!
  11. That sucks!! do you know where they live........ Pretty sure I'd know what to do with that gbox if you ever get a 25 box!!
  12. Also for those that haven't heard the latest, there is a meeting planned for engineering signatories with the RTA (roads and traffic authority) next week. There are around 70 engineers going to this meeting to discuss the proposed legislation on vehicle modifications, including the suspension regulations. Basically they will be raising a lot of points about how silly some of the new proposed laws will be and try to explain why they are rubbish. Labor is backing the proposed laws, and the Liberals are against. Gives you something to think about voting time too... Also they propose to raise the registration costs on older vehicles, to a point that the majority can't afford it, to get them off the road. That's under the Labor party. Various things such as, vehicle owners, enthusiasts, the automotive aftermarket and workshops all come into play here as to whether we get to do what we enjoy and also the whole industry keeps going, or if we all end up driving white goods, with no soul, and not allowed to change anything. That about sums it up, and that's just the start. If you guys have anything to add, please do! Cheers
  13. For those that haven't signed the petition yet, here is the website address: http://nothoons.myelectorate.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=39&Itemid=126 Cheers.
  14. Spotted today, White R35GTR at Taubmans in Paramatta. White R34 GT with carbon bonnet at Church ST Maccas. White R34 GT at servo next to steak house on Windsor Rd near Blacktown turnoff.
  15. Pick up prefered. Now $1400, BARGAIN!!!!!!!!
  16. You mean creaking noise?? if so, either stock rubber bushes in the links are stuffed due to age, or suspension bolts being tightened when the cars weight was not on the wheels, as set out in the workshop manual. This causes the rubbers to be torn and they start making noise. Or something is rubbing. Also if you have urethane replacements fitted, they make noise if the lube gets washed out over time.

  20. Great day out guys, thanks to the organisers too. Shame about the late lunch but it was worth the wait. I hope the donations bucket got at least half filled! I managed to get some at the meet up point. Woodsy my passenger, will have his up later Pics up soon.
  21. Oh how nice of them. As if that's not blatant revenue raising lol. Money spent on roads.......fail. Also if you are heading to car park from the east, watch out for 2 BIG POTHOLES just before the underpass. You have been warned. They have been there since before Christmas!
  22. Both 6 speeds in supra and R34 are getrags, so I'm sure you could use the front end of one and the back of the other to bolt up the transfer case. Alloy custom sump made up with the gtr front diff. Single turbo and some clever pipework? I'd end up doing a 30 bottom end or a nissan VK56 v8 if I had the money and chance lol.
  23. I had a front wheel bearing go in my 32 and it would click at low speeds, also would tramline bad under brakes. Definately look into the wheel bearings.
  24. I was on the Pacific on the 3rd and 4th of Jan....coming down from QLD. Probably was me then. May have seen you, black R33?
