The Acty and most other Kei cars can't be imported because of SEVS regs, but in the case of Daihatsu, they could be made eligible because Daihatsus are no longer sold here new. Getting them on the register is one thing, getting them to meet ADRs is another entirely - from people who have tried with the Beat and the Cappuccino, apparently it's virtually impossible to meet ADRs.

I do a full fluid change when my cars get here anyway, just as a precaution. Fluid changes are one of the cheapest things to do, yet can cause the most damage if not done regularly.

After much drama with wheels, I finally ended up with these - Work Goocar Hemi, in 17x8 +30 which should make for some decent fitment... I only just got them, so they're still in Japan - looks like I'll be rollin' on stockies for a little while longer. We went for a drive down to Glenelg (beach-side suburb for non-SA people) and the response was amazing, I ended up giving out quite a number of business cards. The interesting thing is non-car nuts love them too, which makes for a much wider target audience than I'm used to!

Just a slight correction - the gold on the M-Specs is called Silica Blaze The V-Spec II N1s did come with ABS, and the stereo could be optioned back in, as was the case in mine, but it's an AM/FM radio with two speakers lol Few other things but I can't be arsed writing them all down haha
