  1. I'd give my left nut for an FX50...
  2. They're only doing the RWDs huh...business must be slow for them I bet...
  3. Same criteria must be met regardless of whether you apply for it as new or used.
  4. They initially applied for them as new vehicles back at the end of the year, but they only became eligible as used vehicles just recently.
  5. http://www.ausmotive.com/2009/12/24/volksw...t-approval.html
  6. There's a crew down in Vic that applied for them as new cars apparently, but it has now hit 18 months since they were sold new overseas, making them eligible as used cars. You'd be looking ex-UK for the RHD factor, and in terms of price, I suspect low-km used ones would be a similar price to what the equivalent Golfs are new over here. We shall see.
  7. They actually did a vinyl wrap for the RS500s must be a bugger of a job! Tough car though, 5 cyl sounds awesome.
  8. All good, keep the Golf for 12 months and change over once someone has plates for them! The Focus RS is next in my sights too....
  9. Food for thought for those of you who like Euro stuff - Scirocco GT 147kW, Scirocco R 195kW (same 2.0 TSI motor as the Golf)
  10. Try Graham Hill at TGB in Sydney guys for 1.5s, I said that on the last page!
  11. Well it's one owner with books, judging by the grading the kms certainly look legit.
  12. I see you made it to 10 posts there mate, good job, thanks for your contributions so far.
  13. Presumably within 18 months of being released in Japan
  14. Haha, I was gonna say, of all the people that should know! I have the auction sheet so good luck convincing me it's an EX
  15. I'll get you to check the Nav in it because it could possibly be the factory option one, but my regular workshop up your way gave me a sizeable discount on compliance so I'm taking it to them Mine's an Agiactive, easiest way to tell is the Agiactives have a different grille, fog lights and climate control air con. I think someone is doing the YZ11s Phil, a guy in Sydney owns one that was originally a test car, might be Graham Hill at TGB in Penrith, for those interested. The supercharger kit I got is a low-blow Impul thing, gives it an extra 35ps haha, in percentage terms I imagine it's a decent hike over standard! Might have to drop the compression and see what I can wind it up to...
  16. The internet's so slow over your way I'm spending money I don't have, that and a good accountant! Besides you got married and got Japan as part of the deal!
  17. Oh dear the obsession has started... Overfenders purchased. Rims purchased. Cusco coilovers purchased. Hopefully will have a supercharger kit by the end of the weekend
  18. They still have police-spec moustaches even in Japan!!
  19. It's grey And they do have unmarked cars in Japan don't forget. As Phil said, they often do hold on to their cars for a long time, I've seen a stack of oldies getting around the place.
  20. ^^You, my friend, could be a genius! That would definitely explain the kms...
  21. It's been withdrawn from auction!! Nooooooooooooo!
  22. An R33 + 20s = NOT a tidy unit...
  23. Skip to the 2:20 mark on the vid to avoid all the rest of the crap that leads up to it... It's got some grunt though, looks like a bit of fun!
