  1. refer to my sig. Call kyle. Best manifolds around!
  2. if it was throw out bearing you would hear it making the whiney rattly noise whilst in neutral and when you put a slight amount of pressure on the clutch pedal it should go away.
  3. just to clarify, 25, 30 and im assuming rb20 use 11mm headstuds not 10mm. You can use use either 25 or 26 headgaskets no worries.
  4. normally a face of the head they only take 10 thou off, the bare minimum inorder to make it flat.
  5. The government really is getting to a stage now where they are grasping at straws and using rather pathetic attemps to stop people speeding/racing/drifting or whatever. I really cant see all these new law changes making a big impact, perhaps initially but it will get back to how it was, situations change but people adapt. Seems all of aus is cracking down on all this stuff.
  6. you really should have the external return. Why would you want a dry sump setup, yet not one external return. You do realise with the setup there will be quite a few lines running everywhere?
  7. maybe i am? haha.
  8. damn straight about kyles work. You wouldnt go through the copycat getting around. The amount of extra service kyle provides besides just the manifold is just insane. He is a very switched on bloke. And if he were gay....i would marry him
  9. Depending on how far you want to go, toluene is the best option. It only aided F1 back in the 80's to achieve the high horsepower figures they had and ran. Problem with the octane boosters is the higher the initial ron of the fuel the lesser increase you see from adding it. mad082 can you explain your mechanics reasoning for not using/advising toluene?
  10. I guess i will see you at the track sometime then. SSS pulsar, will have to look out for it.
  11. yeh your not wrong there. Nothing is bulletproof unfortunately, but most of the time its decided by how much horsepower is put through it. How long have you had the box in the car for?
  12. PAR dog box hey. Have heard alot of people having dramas with those. What is the car for?
  13. you got PM mate!
  14. dont pauter specialise in titanium rods? Isnt that their claim to fame? or is it ally rods?
  15. sep 29th/30th and last round is the 10th/11th november. You should join in and bring lots of mates. Brisbane isnt far from over the border. We need more skylines there.
  16. what oil pump you guys running?
  17. we got a 1000hp twin plate from NPC here in brisbane. I cant get over how smooth and light it is. Dont know about retail price brad, if you can talk to kyle about getting one, do that. Or ask him what he thinks about them. We had a sprung centre exedy twin plate before only rated to like 700hp or something and it was harsher somehow then the NPC non-sprung twin plate....weird.
  18. 6 x Sard 800cc top feed injectors, twin spray nozzle. Comes with plugs. Injectors have been cleaned and flow tested to 760cc with a +- 5cc variance. The injectors have seen 3 passes on filtered race fuel, virtually new. Located in brisbane. Chasing $600.
  19. any good workshop should be able to make custom oversize valves from blanks.
  20. really...i didnt know it was changed to an r33 crossmember, glenn never mentioned that to me last time we spoke. But i know about the sump. There are many photos on my comp of it. Only thing about glenn's setup that i didnt like too much was his lazy attempt at a scraper, not being rude its more in jest but a proper plate with louvered wings facing towards to the exhaust side would have been better to break the vaccum, think i mentioned it to him at somestage. Doesnt matter anyway, but he did a good job setting it all up, and its a nice sump and the car is nice also...i could sure steal that motec dash he put in along with that strain gauge he was talking about for the flat shift......*drools*
  21. the ethanol is good in a way, as it cleans everything in the engine as it gets passed through. Its almost as good as having water injection except its in the fuel. However because its partially made up by ethanol the fuel isnt as dense and it also burns leaner, so when being tuned it needs to be richened up abit in comparison to normal fuel. By all means you should get a little less economy from a tank because of this. However it does have a higher octane rating, so it sort of works itself out. Think of it like methanol, it burns lean and cold, thats why you need to squirt 2.2 times as much over std fuel. But the octane rating of it is astronomical. Thats how i see how the ethanol helps, whether its right or not is beyond me.
  22. screamer and straight 4" out the side infront of p.s back wheel. You cant think at idle and its clearly one of the loudest cars at the track. Its so loud when you go past the commentary tower at qr, you can hear the cars exhaust as feedback through the speakers when they talk. The flames are another story
  23. allows you to run a proper scraper, and a sump designed to catch the oil in the right places to get sucked out with room for inline filters and fittings. Dont know about gtr sumps, but std gtst ones arent too friendly in regards to those things. Plus a new ally one looks the piece
  24. bloudy cefiros and their stupid lower crossmember. So much more room under there for a nice sump pan.
  25. seems like your going to a whole lot of trouble for a whole lot of complication. What were you planning for the scraper, if any at all?
