  1. I got a nismo twin plate + light flywheel and I hate it. Way too on off for city driving. I'm going to get it replaced by a single - already have nismo slave so should be heaps better for traffic.
  2. Register datalogit and join the yahoo group - plenty of topics on the forum alot on LC-1 or LM-1 Wideband O2 sensors. Also: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resourc...fc_tutorial.php to get you started. Cheers, Pen
  3. Yeh I'm interested too - anyone had one installed?
  4. When you get a Jim Berry clutch is there any point of getting the Nismo Big Operating Cylinder (slave) for a r33 GTR to lighten it up? Thanks

  6. Thanks, thats what I wanted to know. Well mechanic said that when they pulled the intake cam gear was loose and the timing was very advanced
  7. Car Condition: R33 GTR Upgrades: Tomei Fuel Pump, 700cc Sard Injectors PowerFC/Blitz ID3 Boost Controller Adj Cam Gears, Tomei 260° Poncams, Trust Intercooler, Aluminium radiator with Oil Cooler HKS GT-SS Turbos Reason for Rebuild About Mechanic fixed head gasket & fitted Cam Gears, fuel pump, HKS turbos, cams, water pump, timing belt, replaced hoses etc. However, it has been driving pretty rough and the compression in no1 was low. Drove around for months & months. Mechanic pulled engine apart & looks like the bolts on the ajdustable cam gears came loose on intake side & ignition became very advanced & lead to damaged valve (not to bad - compression down about 30 & not too much scoring. On the other hand Crank & Conrods are in good condition. Current Shopping List: - Block Machined etc. - New Clutch - Current is a Nismo Gmax thing & is pretty on/off looking at something easier to drive as 99% of driving is on streat - mainly to & from work. Looking at Jim Berry. - ARP 2000 Rod Bolts - Nissan N1 Oil Pump with collar - ACL Big end & Main bearings (SR20 bigend bearings & RB30 Main Bearings) - CP Pistons and rings - Tomei Head Gasket Set - with restrictor Now as 99% of driving is on the street and fairly boring - wondering if I should get baffles, etc. Any advice is awesome, Cheers, Pen
  8. 1 bar is about 14 PSI (flicking the restrictor will put it up to that approximately especially if exhaust is done) Hmm, double boost without any modifications to protect engine is silly (enough can go wrong with a 17 year old car as it is). Anywhoo $6000 is amazingly cheap for the rebuild/parts I'd have expected about $8000. Good luck with rebuild also do a bit of research so you understand a bit more about consequences before you touch your car. Hope it goes well, Pen
  9. RECEIVED NOW - THANKS! Hey Teazn, Can you let me know when you would expect the hand controller to reach Bundy? I've been looking out for it but it hasn't showed up yet, its been over two weeks since you said you would post it. Cheers, Pen

  14. Hiya, I was just wondering what the options are for replacing a cracked front lip on a R33 GTR. From a previous occurrence I know I have a fiberglass one and it cost like $650 dollars to repair. Now its happened again (the fibreglass seems to be very brittle and doesnt have much give before it cracks - then it just falls apart) so I'm considering replacing it rather than having it repared. I know the genuine lips are like $1300 but the diffuser itself seems in good condition. Obviously I'd prefer plastic but not if it is gonna cost me an extra $1000. I have seen http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/priceli...gtrlowerlip.jpg this and http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/priceli...ries3gtrbar.jpg and it looks like the R33 Series 3 should bolt up to the Series 1 but any feedback would be great. I've also seen the 400R replicas but they seem to be for GTS-T's only so I'm not sure how they bolt up or whether they bolt up to the diffuser either? Anyone had experiecne in this regard?
  15. Yeh i would very much like one too! Been looking for something like this for ages! Send me DD details!
  16. Chasing up glove box in very good condition - pics?

  18. Well ran round & got some quotes (fitted): Hankook K104 - 255/40R17 - $260 Falken 326&512 255/40R17 - $320 (wont touch) BFGoodrich Profiler G 255/40R17 - $315 Kumho KU21 255/40r17 - $260 Rest of places laughed & quoted like >$500 for Bridgestones, etc. One guy told me to get 235/45R17 Bridgestone TZ100's for $185. Feedback? Saw someone got the Hankooks for $200 somewhere???? Cheers, Penfold
  19. Basically chasing up a set of tyres - 245/255/265 (9 inch rims) x 17inch x 4 for a R33 GTR. At the moment I need four tyres. I purchased some Falked Azensis ST115 245/17s for the rear about 12 months ago and I'd be lucky to have got 10,000 km out of em (and thats with very moderate driving) for $320 each from Quickfit. So I guess they were a bit soft but I don't really wanna spend $1200+ for tyres lasting less than a year. So I'm in the market for some decent tyres- new or used at a reasonable price. Anothther option I had was tempE tyres in Sydney. They had: some Dunlops in 255 40 17 ($250ea inc freight). some falken zeix 512 ($230ea inc freight). Of course, then you would have to pay for fitting, balancing and alignment. Which begs the next question - who would be good to fit/balance/alighn tyres for a decent price. I could fit them myself but they wouldn't be balanced and would need an alignment. Just wondering if places would it do and how much, bearing in mine you bought the tyres from somewhere else (+some places have the fitting machine so it probably wouldn't be worth my time to put em on anyway). So any recommendations?? Cheers, Pefnold
