Hey Paul, you reckon you could add a quick Datalogit guide on your PowerFC manual page. If it's that easy to lose your map maybe a breif "Getting Started" with steps on how to download your current map/compare to stock map. Just scared me with how easy it is to lose current map - I'd hate to lend to a friend and they lost their current map they spent $700 on getting tuned. Would be great, Penfold

Hmm, How hot did it get when leaking coolant - check oil/water for no signs of head gasket damage.

You can try messaging tempe tyres and see what specials they got at the moment. I was looking at doing that for my GTR too. BUt at the moment I'm putting off new tyres for as long as possible. Also, any ideas on what a car place would charge to put someone elses tyres on your vehicle + balance & align. Would it be better do jack em up yourself and then take car in to be balanced and aligned. Cheers, Penfold

Cool, So I check it out. Just undo the 4 bolts from the front of the driveshaft (connecting to the front diff) and it should just pull out from the socket where it conect the transfer case. Looks good. But, I just wanted to check how long the can be driven like this. Is there any potential for damage aside from the possibility of dirt/rocks accumulating in the sockets, etc. So say a 20 minute drive to dyno after hoist would be fine & then 20 minutes back to put driveshaft in should be fine. I'll post a pic of driveshaft later & also when i do it a few shots of it coming out.

Hiyas, Just wanting to see if anyone had an update on the situation. Obviously the computer method sounds easiest but has anyone actually used it on the dyno?? any potential for damage, no chance of fronts engaging, etc? Secondly just wondering if someone could step me through slowly the method to disconnect the front driveshaft (ie, raise on hoist, etc). Maybe deservers a FAQ. Cheers, Penfold
