Two friends of mine with MZ20 Soarer's have the Bosch BOV's installed. One of them, if you hit a certain rev range and hold it, the BOV will sound like a continuous Hoot from an Owl.

A couple of points to be made here. There was an article by the chief designer of the new GT-R and he stated that the car WILL have the Afterburner lights... "If it doesn't have the round lights, then it's not a Skyline" that was a direct quote. also, they are no longer the 'R' models, they have changed to 'V' so it's the 'V35' Skyline GT-R. and finally, [ryan] was correct, the most possible course of action for the new GT-R is a Twin Turbo 3.5L V6 with the ATTESSA 4WD system.

Hey Guys, I'll be in on the jacket as well. Just a suggestion, perhaps we should keep the logo pretty small, just as a pocket logo so we can keep the costs down for everyone. Attached is the Navy Blue version of the logo that I created. I'm trying to find a place where you can get the T-shirts done like this so I can tell what it looks like. ciao for now.

The stuff from Autobarn and places like that are a cheaper alternative to REAL exhaust tape. If you want the good stuff, then I'd suggest to visit your local Revolution Racegear supplier, they have the stuff that goes on drag, rally, sprint cars. It's a little dearer, but if you want it, then you'll pay for it.

Let me know how it works out, cause I'm thinking of getting one, and wanted to know what they are like from someone who actually has one. I found out that my stock one is leaking.... I took it off, and blew air into it from the inlet and it just leaked through the other side. Wierd.

T0nyGTSt: The HKS SSQ as standard is vent to atmosphere, however you can get an adapter kit for $30US to plumb it back into the intake.

Or it could be that the hosting company has gone down as well.

People in Later model Dunnydore's like the VT, VX and VY's are generally okay. If you get the people in the beastily VN, then you start to hit bogan-ville, they put a V8 in a VN they think they own the road.

From rumor I think that they are continuing with the Supercharged version as Ford now have the Turbo version. The Eaton M90 is a very mild charger, they'll probably just tick the power levels just over the V6 standard as they dont want it to take over the V8 power levels. Which is quite easy to do. LOL :-)

The Problem is.... they are just TOO damm heavy.... go for the HRT427, they've shaved about 2-300Kg's of the standard weight. Mind you, it is fully race prepped and costs about the same amount for a small south pacific country. One thing to look out for would be the new V6 engine going into the 'dores next year. 3.8L DOHC Variable Cam Phasing with Electronic Throttle control. Plus All Alloy so it's about 20% lighter than the current one. Do some tweaking with the Supercharged version or whack on a Nice Garrett Turbo then there may be some competition out there. ------ It's not the car, it's the Drivers, they are un-educated, bogan, slack-jawed yokels that wouldn't know the difference between a Cam Shaft or a push-rod.

I think that it is really a case of. "Is the glass empty or is it half full" The people who are total d##kheads in their commodores and the un-educated ones. Meaning that they generally dont understand the amounts of technology that goes into the Skylines, Supras, Soarers, 200SX, 300ZX etc, to lower the power to weight ratio of the cars. They only think that a Big Block V8 Is the only way to go. Although if you put some technology onto the V8's you can some pretty decent power figures. So this group of people think that their car rules the road just because the note of the engine makes everyone think that the world is coming to an end. and they are probably so insecure about getting whipped by car that is probably half to a third lighter and down by at least 2 cylinders. ---- At the other end, you have the drivers that know what they are up against, know what they have, know what the other car has and only has a bit of fun and acknowledges the other driver with a wave, smile, thumbs up. They dont get shi!!y cause they beat them, because at the end of the day the better car won. Speaking from personal experience (since I'm a newly converted Commodore driver) they buy the commodore cause they like it and because it has a bit of punch. and they are mature enough to see that there is something better on the road than their Commodore. ---- These Bogan idiots drive Holden's cause they are substituting for their lack in other areas. The people who TRULY appreciate the motoring experience and respect their car for what it is will be the one that will give you a thumbs up after a spirited session from the Traffic lights. --- I'm Kent Brockman, and that was my two cents.

can you also get the actual motor for the Window as well. The actuator contacts inside the motor on mine are screwed and it doesn't get enough power to pull the window up.

I'm after a motor for the Drivers side window and the Console that holds the controls to the windows. anybody have those :-) cheers
