  1. yep top cranks, i run nearly 800bhp @ the fly done 6000 miles on it now amd been to 8350 rpm on track no issues yet, arp studs, std crank/cradle all balanced, spool rods, cp slugs,acl bearings..well happy..bernie uk.
  2. hi guys, a few of my mates have rb26/30,s now including me. but if we have a crank failure in the future, maybe a bearing spinning etc we have no spare rb30,s cranks, what kind of money can you guys get them for and what would be the cheapest way to get them to the uk..we are in no rush really but could do with a couple of spare std, un ground cranks for the rb30,,bernie
  3. cheers mate. shifting aroung 7600-7800 but went to 8350 a couple of times, logged on the ecu, yep braked a little late at the entry to the left hander..lol bov,s yes twin blitz super seqentials,cant hear them over the turbo.. fuel is shell 98 ron, 1000cc,s injectors, twin entry rail,twin tomei intank pumps feeding rail at bothe ends, 10mm return to tank..
  4. hi mate , well where to start. torque was 620lbs @ the fly no graph, bhp was 610 @ the hubs/wheels. and dyno chart below, haven,t 1/4 mile it yet. still on std gtr box which it will break if i do, mainly use the car for track work and road . on the graph car ran 1.85bar boost but the wastgate spring was to weak, since then we haved upped the spring and boost to 2.6 bar, will be intersting to dyno this year. here,s a clip when it ran at anglesey north wales at 1.3bar november 08.

  7. chris, get a set of rods, and pistons from spool imports, there on here, rebore, shells, oil pump + gaskets, put it back togther and depending what turbo/s you pick. it will run that power easily.. search for me, rockabilly, read my threads i built my own..brad @ spool will sort you the parts out..bernie. p.s not worth not putting rods/pistons for the price of them.
  8. fuel is pulp 98ron shell v-power. knock 35-45 power comes on strong from 3200rpm any gear. right through to 8k.
  9. hi guys, the gt35r was good spooled hard around 3500rpm with a 1.06 rear, it was a single t3 entry and looked like if was fading off towards 6500-6800rpms, talked to kyle @ 6 boost and to be honest it was a toss up between the 4088r and the 4094r. but there is no comparison, the gt4094r with a .96rear is a fooking animal.t4 twin scroll, full boost thats 2.5 bar by 5300, 1 bar by 3300. and it comes on so hard at 70mph in 3rd when you plant it all 4 wheel wheelspin.
  10. ps i use the spool rods/cp piston package, proengines sump adapter, acl bearing, n1 oil/water pumps. 6 boost turbine kit, os giken quad plate clutch. car runs 8 bar oil pressure cold @ idle 5 bar hot @ idle. and it goes like a train.

  13. rb26/30 forged rods pistons, acl bearings, n1 oil/water pumps, arp bolts everywhere. gt4094r single,4"dump. run 2.5bar boost max 1.5bar by 3600rpm.full boost 4200. superb turbo for road/track, responsive yet makes the numbers.
  14. i used the rb25 bolt washer on mine, done 4000+ miles now no issue, i did balance the bottom end though, but then again its 700+bhp and revs to 7500rpm+ bernie uk

  16. cp flat top,3.5 thou bore clearance, nice pistons, 26 head, gt4094r, 530kw @ 1.9 bar with more to come no problem shell v-power, see thread.

  18. did some dyno work yesterday.lol p.s. figures are bhp @ the flywheel. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- well some of you know the car by now, and as i have have fitted a new turbo it was time for a tweek on the map.. still got some misfire issues and could only run 1.9 bar boost, but heres, the graph. spec is. rb30 block fully prepped with spool rods and cp forged pistons n1 oil/water pumps, jun stage one cams 264/272 9.7mm lift 1000ccs injectors, twin in-tank tomei pumps feeding both ends of the rail, 8mm return to tank fitted. gt4094r turbo, 50mm turbosmart gate, 4" downpipe. plus usual bits lol.

  20. hi mate, must be your manifold..i have a 4094r on mine and mine closes no problem.get leigh or kyle to make you one up for that turbo.. if its the cam cover catching on the 32 thats a bigger problem..
  21. mine has a gates belt.. you need a mazda 323 1.7 td one it fits a treat..

  23. hi mate it wont fit. guy here has a rb25det in a s14 and the bonnet wont shut, so he bent it in a bow shape to shut, cars a track car so not to bad, but looks shite.
  24. hi guys, not posted for a while.. right section now, after some advice as usual.. my rb26/30 has now done 2500 miles no problem whatsoever, but is under turbo,ed. specs is as follow, rb30 block decked bored to 86.5mm spool rods, cp forged slugs. acl bearings,arp bolts everywhere. trust sump 1000cc injectors, twin in tank tomei fuel pumps. hks drag 4" intercooler.. 1.0 tomei headgasket. jun stage one cams 264/272 9.7mm lift. full extreme turbomanfolds kit using a gt35r 1.06 rear 4" dump car made 680bhp 645lbs @ 5500rpm but drops off after 6500rpm,s pm,ed leigh ref replacement kit as i have a buyer for mine. thinking of going t4 flange and twin scroll. leigh suggested gt4088r or 4294r not sure what rears to use on either, or spooling times on either too?. looking for 750-850 bhp @ the fly..with a good spool. cheers bernie.uk
