  1. comes out too and just put a smaller rubber plug in from Supercheap. (at least that's what I have done on the 32) or turn it sideways and squirt pedestrians
  2. Okay persuaded - definitely a lot better rims alone make/brake a 34's looks as well also keep it clean of stickers with the rear wing gone maybe think about removing the rear wiper and putting in a delete plug
  3. R34GTT to R34GTR. Not being an arrogant GTR owner - I just don't understand (I have a 34GTT also) Seems an expensive way to go.... If your that keen on the looks I suppose I can understand a little but please NEVER put a GTR badge on anything other than a GTR 32 GTS-t's look a lot nicer with the GTR fronts on but IMHO not the 34GTT's The black 34 above looks really well kept too Edit: For the dollars mentioned above I'd upgrade to a 3076 with an .82 rear housing some ID injectors etc....
  4. Stick with the Camry Wait 5 to 10yrs if you want an R34 GTR that badly. The initial Price, maintenance and insurance I don't think you will be able to afford one until full-time employed for a few years. and you should be able to get an R34GT for around $8k. Stick with the Camry !
  5. Sorry mate - didn't see ya, I heard a toot as well but didn't see NE1 Did spot a very nice white rx7 down near Lanyon shops on my way out to Tharwa. Had a quick blat with him, exchanged waves. From a distance it looked like an NSX so was keen to see. But when got closer it was an Rx7 with some tasty mods Sorta like this but a lot better. Had an oval muffler that I thought was on the opposite to this pic but maybe I wrong
  6. LOLZ
  7. That's freaky. The key should still work but trip the Alarm. At least it does with mine. There is no way the key should not work in the door locks - not possible (as it is physical). When you say new battery. Do you mean in the Fob or the car battery? I have replaced both previously with no issues. Sounds to me like the frequency has changed for the unlock motion Edit: By the way I have a 34 GTT also
  8. R32 GTR bonnet gloss black - mint, (and I mean mint!) - $700. (no latch or mount bracket). (sorry recently sold new N1 Front bar, Lip, and vents - OEM)
  9. I was trying to find a picture of 5 18yo girls and make everyone guess the relevance - oh well
  10. I suppose not significant or die in the ditch issues - Benefits are a tighter feel, potentially quicker shifting due to less distance to travel and a shorter stick. Playing opposites - obviously accelerates wear (more solid bush) and accentuates any GB issue you may have, a little bit of extra muscle required (not really worth a mention but..), more precise movements required and you leave your hand on and guide it more in/out. Exaggerates any notchy gear feeling (more difficult in/out of any slightly "notchy" gear) Great to keep your focus on driving / changing gears like a real racer tho
  11. Soda blasting was used on my GTR bonnet. Very gently but still managed to rip a whole in the alloy bonnet. I think in the hands of an experienced operator it has it's benefits. I expect rubber and sills need to be covered correctly or avoided.
  12. R32 GTR is road legal - stock but forged with -7's (except for the current exhaust as you already know from hearing it!) Neither is engineered nor needs to be, as advised by a certified engineer. + 3 times over Dickson pits in the last 11 years. Edit: Last time 2011 after the rebuild.
  13. +1 for Nismo p0rn^^
  14. Cant go wrong with Cusco either. Stay clear of solid shifter bushings. It will cause issue's. I'm returning from my C's to a stock stick. The C's been great but for my use I don't need the tightness nor the shortness to each gear.
  15. Go with your research - Nismo Quickshift or Shortshift - Nismo Eng and GB mounts Going too solid in the mounts and shifter you will live to regret it. I use the Nismo mounts and a C's short shifter. (C's No longer available new) Street GTR32 If your doing drag / Drift / track listen to others (I have no experience)
  16. whence ? LOL
  17. I use Shannon's (in the ACT) for both R32 GTR "strengthened" & R34 GTT and I highly recommend. All modifications listed and approved/covered by Shannon's.
  18. phone LCD screen replacements anyone know who/where does this and can be trusted ? I have 2 HTC Mobile phones where I have cracked the screen These are worth $450 and $650 bucks so I'd like to see if I can repair them all help appreciated
  19. 1. Engineered as road legal 2. R33 GTS4 $15k max - count your lucky stars if you get anywhere near that amount for insurance - Sub $10k for a GREAT example. It's not rare/unique/valuable. Performance Mods don't necesarily increase value in fact it may even work against the value.
  20. Does this count ?
