  1. Once heard someone say you need to be able to afford 2 GTR's to own one Whats your ECU? can help with who you choose locally. $1200 + for full tune starting from scratch. ESP, Trojan, Autotech and Ultimate tunes are your main local Skyline Tuners. I perfer Glen at ESP and I have a Haltech.
  2. Find out how much to have yours reco'd. Be off the road for a week tho I prefer to know the condition of my steering rack, that is all.
  3. I agree John, but I also reccomend using engine flush - 15 mins on idle with this in, then drain. Repalce filter and oil. Yes it does work and no it doesn't cause damage. I used it in the prelude last week, awesome... Great news you have it running. Must be like a kid in a candy shop. Bet you can't wait to tune and drive
  4. If you do and it's awesome - then perhaps a production run
  5. sorry mate - I dont have one. What have you checked so far that may be prohibiting spark ? Fuses - especially main fuse in engine bay. Resistors ? Ignitor - swap over with a known good one. Make certain it is grounded. ECU Battery - how dead is it If you have been working on it check your wiring is connected correctly - as in secure. Oh and lastly - do you have an immobiliser alarm? - Sillier things have happend to others hence the question. Can anyone else help with a consult cable?
  6. went to Rose Cottage that place is off tap. I think I'll be going a lot more. oh and thats why the weathershields aren't on the GTR yet. Maybe later this evening .....

  8. Today it's stick the OEM wind deflectors on the GTR. Painted them gloss black and now fitting them without the little metal clips. Just over getting rain dripping in when the windows slightly down. I hate driving with all the windows up! cos I'm a smoker...... Shut da fK up

  15. Over the last week Fixed the boot so it's now flush with the rear qtr panels. Changed the black bonnet back over for the blue one. Cleaned up the engine bay a little. Painted some stuff black that looked out of place. and I polished up the RB26 timing cover I bought off another member. oh and cleaned it. Wash, Clay bar, wash and waxed it 3 times. OCD or what !!
  16. Faulty pressure switch or the relay ? Perhaps you have found the issue yourself "Heard that it could have something to do with the PFC sending to much voltage to the TPS causing the car to think that the throttle is wide open"
  17. http://www.skylinesa...ulator-new-ish/ maybe ?? Further information using google and trolling other sites for similar symptoms came up with these. 1. "The R32 relay by the boot catch is the relay that powers the ATTESA pump that pressurises the accumulator that is used to power the piston. If it clicks all the time, the pressure accumulator is knackered". 2. On an R32, the ATTESA hydraulic unit is mounted above the rear diff. Usual system is a 12V hydraulic pump coupled to an accumulator to store the pressurised hydraulic oil. A pressure switch cuts the pump at the required pressure. The accumulator has an internal sliding piston with pre-charged nitrogen on one side and the pressurised hydraulic oil on the other. With time, the nitrogen leaks passed the piston seals so you then get no reserve of stored hydraulic fluid. The pump has to cut in and out constantly to supply pressurised oil. Recharge the accumulator with nitrogen, bleed the system and all's well. Hope it's helpfull
  18. I like the Trust one but I'll check out the Nismo unit
