  1. i've seen a bunch on yahoo auctions japan just type in 'v36 skyline'and pretty much everything will pop up and just filter to exterior body parts or... get a hectic bodykit lol
  2. Just wondering if anyone is wiling to do an emblem swap? I have a 2009 KV36 Sedan badged as an Infiniti and looking to get the original Nissan badging back on. I have the front grill emblem, rear badging and centre wheel caps also. If someone has the set and is willing to swap, will be happy to pay postage. Cheers.
  3. Yeah looks bit odd. But I guess if you paint it black it'll blend in more. I'll be talking to someone later about cutting the emblem insert out and fabricating a replacement piece...surely it won't cost as much as the grill ...
  4. considering buying this one, painting it in a gloss black http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170657832435?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and debadging the infiniti badges on the rear assuming it fits my 2009 kv36 although it says it's for a pv36 g35
  5. are the grills for the coupes and sedans the same? would be interested in a group buy if it is or if they are flexible with the purchase
  6. looks pretty cool would go but still have to get SAU membership and i have work until 8pm
  7. yeah if you could do an embless-less grille, i'll debadge my whole car and not worry about this half half infiniti nissan badging i got going on lol
  8. thanks for that, i will just leave the door open when disconnecting the battery
  9. yeah my v36 was pretty much a rushed decision to buy too now i just want the 2010+ model haha but i am still very much happy with what i have
  10. i'm sorry but what's this window relearning issue? don't windows just go up and down whenever you want them to? i'm planning on replacing my air bag cover and the tutorial says i have to disconnect my battery but it said nothing about window relearning
  11. Alright, so I got my new plates a few days ago and it didn't cross my mind that the number plate holes wouldn't be pre-drilled. Looked great but I had no way to put it on, so I decided to just drive home without any plates and drill some holes on. And in a hurry without much planning or measurements I drilled two holes (eventually four due to my number plate bracket needing different holes) into my plates, Now tell me guys, do they look straight/even? Because they aren't, off by maybe 1mm or something and it's annoying the hell outta me. Any ideas how to fix them? Drill larger holes or what? Definitely don't want to buy new plates but I would if it annoys me enough. Cheers
  12. nah seriously, i wanna follow him on instagram lol anyway, legit response, if you want to get a slightly overpowered car and not get picked up by the cops all the time go with the v-series skylines, not saying that because i have a v36 myself but because out of the various HP cars that i drive next to all the time, the cops behind me always pull the WRX or something over before they even take a look at my sedan lol
  13. that my friend, sounds like a great idea an idea i have no clue what to do but if you do figure it out make a DIY so we all can learn from your ways
  14. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/430930-v36-rev-probs-firmware-update-anyone/ more apparent in the early pv36s i think the newer kv36 models have it a little when decelerating mostly, happens every now and again to me, just a bit jagged like the rev matching goes a bit hard
  15. put the HSV emblem on and put a 307 at the back instead of the 370 but that custom work looks pretty neat
  16. So currently I have a 2009 V36 Sedan, and I am very happy with the car mind you despite some harshness in ride quality here and there. But before I decide to blow too much money on modifications and things, is it worth upgrading to the 2010+ models? I realise that there are minor improvements such as the fog lights, front bumper and upgraded interior bits (correct me if I'm missing anything) and the aftermarket parts, more so bodykits etc fit on the 2010+ more than the grey period between 2008 and 2010. So should I trade it in a bit later on to get a newer 2010+ model or is the difference really minor and not worth it? Cheers guys
  17. i guess if you have all the parts already and it won't cost you too much money, just put it on and leave the GTR badge off
  18. first of all, like others have said to me, it's your car, do whatever you want then again, not that i'd condone any hoon-like behaviour, what if you got into a drag with another performance car? if you did lose, they'd think GTRs are crap, when they obviously are beautiful beasts so i say just save up for a real GTR cos a GTST badged as an GTR is as bad as a V6 badged as a V8
  19. haha, back when i had my commodore i wanted to get one of those bull bars, but no one makes them locally and probably cos they aren't ADR compliant
