  1. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/301233278483?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Some sort of workshop manual? my dealer gave me an english copy of an instruction manual but nothing i didnt know already (except for that anti glare mirror function haha)
  2. i'll try burning a dvd from scratch and see what happens
  3. Where do you get jap sized plates from? Bodykit will come later haha, nothing too outrageous, gotta stay sleeper
  4. So has anyone noticed the hole in the rear number plate with the V36 Skylines? I saw it on a 250GT too. Like the Japanese plates are large enough to cover the large gap but our Aussie plates are too thin. Thinking of doing some DIY measuring stuff up with some sort of durable material, carbon fibre wrap it and place it behind the plate holder to fill up the hole. Has anyone done anything to fix the hole?
  5. anyone figure out video playback yet? japanese region dvds work but nothing else? i've tried connecting my tablet through the usb/aux and nope, only ipod is working
  6. So I've got my new 2009 370GT - 5 speed tiptronic and I'm looking for a performance shop to take my car to for logbook servicing and performance upgrades like custom dyno tuning, exhaust and engine modifications. Closest to me that I know of and heard good things about are, - IS Motor Racing Rockdale - Tunehouse Marrickville - Pulse Racing Menai I've heard of 370Zs being tuned at these places and since it's pretty much the same engine, they would be able to perform the same good stuff right? Anyone have any experience with any of these guys? Haven't heard of any V35/V36s coming to these places. Also considering Croydon Racing Developments (CRD) but it is a bit out of the way.
  7. I may have felt something similar, like I was braking and I thought I felt the car jump a little forward before stopping completely Not sure if it was me or the car...guess I'll find out after driving it a bit longer Would a custom dyno tune fix any throttle problems too? I wouldn't call the 370GT the smoothest car ever but for the luxury and performance I'm very happy
  8. I must say the English head unit is working great GPS maps work great, good voice nav, all menus are English, bluetooth is good, pretty much full functionality except for the weather and traffic info and TV but I've been told I can fit a DTV tuner. USB cable in the glove connects to iPods etc to be displayed on the screen, very quick, no lag Stickers for buttons are a bit tacky but from a distance looks almost stock Would highly recommend if you have money to blow
  9. would also like to see shall be buying that v36 pdf dvd on ebay, anyone else have this? is it worth it for 10-15 bucks?
  10. fuahhh 230kg is a big number, my max is 205kg but that was before my month long holiday in which i lost 5kg and all my strength, been too scared to go heavy again
  11. was considering buying the 350gt and converting it but i shall see how the conversion works and post if i think it's actually worth getting
  12. I guess it's not a secret since it's clearly shown on their website on certain cars Nagoya Motors, Caringbah - NSW i believe he outsources the work for 2.5k but he can do some good deals for you, only place in Australia apparently was also considering a V36 350GT SP with cream interior, non converted unit (yet) but it has a wifi mirroring system installed, can mirror tablets and phones somehow
  13. Getting my 09 370GT but badged as an Infiniti G37S next week (although i do like the skyline badging, i feel like the infiniti badges reduces attention from the cops a bit more) any essential things i should do to the car? the headunit and everything is working beautiful already cos it's been converted already will drive it rock stock for a while and then maybe black out the wheels(keeping the chrome nuts) and painting the calipers red or yellow, and at the first service chuck in some k&n panel filters what do you guys think of a gloss black roof wrap?
  14. just drive a p-plate legal v6, like the aurion 122 odd kw/kg or something
  15. he doesn't do it himself so I assume it's the russian blokes who do it
  16. $2500 seems pretty standard when adding GPS as an option in new cars, so $2500 including labour (possibly warranty too) seems like a good deal to me. The guy actually offered me $1900 for the install if I purchase the car, so I'm pretty sold but will have to see one last car before I confirm my buy.
  17. test drove the v36 350gt today and will be test driving another one tomorrow and i must say they are amazing perfect balance between performance and luxury and not too thirsty, been told 10-11L per 100km? Like any other v6 probably end up 15L or more if thrash but it could go under 10L if you baby it? i'll see what this other guy says about an english conversion but i was quoted 2.5k for english + gps today
  18. Okay so I've read through all of this, I'll be test driving a V36 350GT SP in the next few days as I'm in the market for a new car, Just to confirm everything... What doesn't work is Navigation, some bluetooth devices, TV and Radio (unless with a band expander) The rest of the features work but are in Japanese And one day down the line when I win the lottery I can convert it using Infiniti G37 parts for about 10K Did I get everything right? I'll have more info once I test drive anyway EDIT: But how did this happen? I thought GPS could be installed extra but the menus still be in Jap but this one seems to have both AUS GPS and English menus. http://www.nagoyamotors.com.au/cars-for-sale/Nissan/Skyline/2009-Nissan-Skyline-ENGLISH-MENU-370GT-Sedan/BC46PZ/details?fr=13&fd=0&ft=7&fb=0
