  1. Heres a new supplement that will be popular with all u beefcakes, an essential purchase along with your popped collar pink shirt... ^_^
  2. Hi just wondering if anyone here who can read Japanese can translate this document for me? Its from the instruction manual of a Japanese fishing reel that I have. I know the gist of the document (add/remove washers under the spool to change the line taper) but I'd really like to know the particulars. If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated! IMG.pdf
  3. 6 months and I bet you change your opinion!
  4. Generally yes they are reliable....BUT some are getting a bit old now (10+ yrs) and you will encounter typical 'old car' issues. Things made of rubber such as coolant hoses and oil seals will start to fail, radiators and heater cores will start to leak, chassis will start making noises/creak.
  5. Does anyone know any cheap panelbeaters around? I've also got a side panel dent/scrape that I want to get fixed but Im not chasing a high end finish as my car is getting a bit old anyway. I just want an adequate finish for a reasonable price. Cheers
  6. Whats so good about a manual gearbox??? This has all the benefits of a manual plus the benefits of an automatic (without the drawbacks ie. torque convertor). Do you really miss having a clutch that much? Did you only just get your licence and using a clutch is still a novelty to you?
  7. Nope, I worked for Mincor. Ruc finish up mid Jan then the Mincor guys from Mcmahon are gonna take over. I was just starting to like Kambalda too...oh well sh*t happens eh?
  8. I would if I could but I no longer work in Kambalda, got made redundant due to the falling nickel price....
  9. Ive seen your car at the BP servo
  10. Theres a couple in kambalda too, I used to see them when I worked down there.
  11. "plus it is very much an unmolested example of all the ghey r33's out there" ????
  12. Does this radiator allow the temp sensor to be fitted back on? The pic on the first page looks like it doesn't have a hole for it?
  13. Hey does anyone know what the thin core (that looks like a radiator) in front of the radiator is (on a R33)? It has a separate fan as well.
  14. Ok cheers for that, will look into it. Does anyone know of other places that sell radiators for R33's? Ive seen the 'Mspec' Aluminum radiators for sale for around $280 online. Does anyone stock them locally?
  15. Well my radiator has finally decided to call it quits, does anyone know of any workshops that can source and install a radiator for a R33 GTST before new years? I know that most workshops will be closed until after new years but I really need this fixed quickly. Also if anyone has a radiator for sale please pm me. Cheers
  16. Hey just wondering if anyone has been on one of these tours before? http://www.jtboi.com.au/escorted_tour/explore_jp_byrail.htm Is there any other companies offering similar holidays? Cheers fellas
  17. You can turn just the fan on without the AC coming on as well. If the unit is off just press the 'mode' button then press the 'fan' button until you get your desired fan speed. If you just want fresh air to flow in without any assistance from your fan- make sure the 'recirc' button is off and press the 'mode' button.
  18. My car just started doing this as well. I've been seaching these forums for the cause of the tapping and I'm convinced its broken exhaust manifold studs (as midlife crisis pointed out). Does anyone know if its safe to just leave the broken studs as is? I'd rather replace the studs and gasket when my turbo dies rather than pay the $500+ in labour just to replace the studs.
  19. If your AC needs regassing you can replace the heater core via the glovebox. Easier and quicker than taking out the whole dash but you'll have to get your AC degassed and regassed.
  20. Hi does anyone know if there is much difference between these springs? I know that the Kings are hot wound and the Teins are cold wound but is there any noticeable difference? Also is it true that King springs sag prematurely? Cheers
