  1. id get me a set of these http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=115339 OR like, chrome rings like thsi 260rs dash - http://images.trademe.co.nz/photoserver/6/22647306_full.jpg
  2. Man, stageas are a f**king addiction. maybe if i just buy a 260rs now, make around 250awkw drive that as a daily for a while I can get over them, but for the moment P-plate legal RB26 manual car is really attractive. Anyone thought about an auto conversion on a 260rs?
  3. Trademe.co.nz http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-63320411.htm It still ends up about the same as buying from japan, but thats a very tidy example. If its still for sale in 3-5 months might buy it myself.
  4. ~750W = 1 hp so isnt it kw = 3/4 * hp there is no conversion for awkw to rwkw, but there is more loss in the driveline in awd cars (friction, sound etc)
  5. I bought a stagea coz i fell in love with the looks of a green one on jspec before any popped up. I got photos of it on my other laptop. then i also needed a work car to carry shit, but since ive falled in love with the rear 1/4's (odd, i know), rear windows and the rear seats. Seating position is great too. Also being a young driver, stealth and beating people is AWESOME
  6. Cyrus, you are not far from wrong PM me if you want to know Yudy.
  7. I much prefer the standard 260RS going for 16,500AUD = ~30-32k landed/complied
  8. I am not a fan of the exposed vac/power lines and it looks a little.... out of place on a sleek stagea. Id go the route of most others and put it in the empty din slot (if you have one) I since moved the gauge to the right hand side to see it better. PS. You have a very shiney steering wheel.
  9. hahah, brads history RB26VL -> StageZilla -> Cruiseliner Was StageZilla permanently banned or something?
  10. stock split wires come together deep in the dash. Dont bother to use them mate, they are pissy wire anyway. As terminal said, I ran my tweeter wires up behind the kickplates, then between the dash and the body and up into the A-pillar. woofer(meaning, for splits) wires I just used the stock wires...i know, but i cbf'ed to replace em. My amp is also under my passenger seat. Just remove the stock airvent under there and run the wires through there. I put some MDF below the carpet and drilled/screwed the amp onto that.
  11. well, i really dont think 10kw difference will kill an auto box.... but hey, we've all worked out an extra 60-70kw can
  12. Just found out something curious Officially, stageas have less power at the flywheel stock than R33's. Skyline http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/s...e/1996_1/21671/ vs Stagea http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/s...a/1997_8/21850/ Why the hell did they detune the stagea when its 300kg heavier!
  13. I tend to agree with The Mafia here, i really dont think an R33 with an exhaust, FMIC and boost can make 190rwkw. For example, my stagea made 160awkw with a GCG highflow on 14psi, GTR FMIC and full exhaust including a split dump/front (BATMBL), catco cat ($440 BATMBL) and 3 inch catback. ECU was untuned, but I blew flames like a dog (was running that rich but not R&Ring). I could blow flames from a standstill until middle of 3rd gear CONSTANT (not just on shifts ) Anyway, on the street, this stagea killed MOST things regardless on a roll, standing start, whatever. Infact, one of my mates has exactly what you say, full exhaust, boost and FMIC (not really a power mod anyway) and he would loose to me by a length or two on the speed limiter. So, how can this be? A 160awkw unaerodynamic, brick shaped, 1750kg (plus driver and passenger) wagon beat a 190rwkw, sleek and lightweight (lighter) sports car? It couldnt, and this isnt from a standing start either, its from a roll. How does more weight, less power and less aerodynamics help me win? I find many people just like having happy dyno figures. To me, a dyno figure is just indicative of how your own personal car is going. Id go to the same place every time, do it the same way etc. Also, might i just point out another thing. Officially, stageas have less power at the flywheel stock than R33's.....BUT I STILL BEAT EM! Skyline http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/s...e/1996_1/21671/ vs Stagea http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/s...a/1997_8/21850/ However, I am sure once mods start coming, its neck and neck, but maybe the standard tune is different in the ecu?
  14. seen a few in japan for around the 2-3 million Y mark. think, 35-40k on road
  15. youd be looking at just under 30k on road cyrus. Sorry, thats NZD not AUD. So its more like 26-7k on road
  16. dont worry mate, my stagea blows blue/white smoke on cold starts every now and then. i asked SK about it and he said that cold richness doesnt produce the same colour smoke as warm richness. my smoke is just for the first 10 seconds too and only if i give it a bit (maybe 4k under load) on another note, i didnt notice any water OR oil consumption, so it should be OK afaik.
  17. I use colorco panels in mitcham. the guy there is a friend of my mate, so the rates i get are pretty good but he still does great rates/work for walk ins
  18. my panel beater fixed/repaired a fibreglass front bar and resprayed both the front and rear bars on my celsior for $450. he also resprayed the rear bar of a camry that i tapped for $150 i would expect him to charge about $200-300 max for a front bar spray only.
  19. So, where would the battery go? I know i dont want a battery in the same cabin as me incase I roll over and get battery acid all over me. This isnt a Silvia
  20. All details in this thread in the Stagea Classifieds http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=124747 PM or call 0439 909 610 Cheers
  21. All details in this thread in the Stagea classifieds http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=124751 Suit R33 GTST and R32 GTST 0439 909 610 or PM
  22. Definatly feel the upgrade over a stock. Untuned my Stagea had 160awkw through an auto with 14psi, no tune what so ever and a full exhaust. (compared to a stock 115-120awkw)
  23. Can I still get that unicorn engraved on a square of Aluminium? Damn it looks hot!
  24. Still for sale, very worth while upgrades over the stock ones which overheat after a few hard corners. Also, if your stock ones are running low, why not upgrade to something better at the same time as putting in new pads.
