  1. Fallen victim to the cripling Nissan Stageas out there. Flat bed truck reversed into my car this morning in the street, for a building works across the street. .......happy but sad, at least I am going to get that DAYZ front bar now hopefully through the insurance company(need a new front bar anyways). Wont be able to get the parts anywhere by from Nissan either...... The damage is front bar support (which was custom done by revzone for my cooler), front 1/4 panel, front bar, front bar lip, front idicator (possibly salvagable), front driver headlight and front driver parker

  3. my issue will have the following symptoms - semi silent turbo on idle - on slight slight throttle, there will be a rattle in the dump pipe/turbo area - once 0psi+ is reached, the rattle (its like, small bearings in a can being rattled) goes away. The noises you describe sound like a manifold to turbo gasket leak..... you did change it right when you changed the turbo??

  5. Gearbox makes no issues, but i would think the diff ratio needs to be changed. Factory S doesnt use a vac booooooooster

  9. the firewall looks "massaged" to me. Maybe it was a bash bash job?
  10. Interestingly, I changed the coilpacks last week and it fixed my problem of stutter at high RPM and the power delivery is now smooooooth. I had about 10 runs pre-new packs and the hotter the coilpacks (engine and all) got, the worse the top end power graph got, yet maintaining the stuttery look about it. After the car/packs were warm, I was making about 150kw peak power. Also, at the drag day I went to on the weekend (14.3@99mph, could have done a 14.2@100mph) I ran 15psi with the GCG using the turbotech boost controller and I did not get ANY R&R, the car drove beautifully. Maybe my ECU's a freak? I got me a cheap set of splitfires anyway, $500 for the 6 so with only 100km use. Ive now left my coil pack cover off to improve heat disipation from that area.

  12. yes, i 100% gaurentee it is lowered. If its bumpy, probably has coilovers and had fatter wheeres in japan. On another note, i predict you have a motorola A920 or A1000?? My motorola did the same thing in the photos with the black spots

  14. Check the actuator is not the problem, being too long and holding the wastegate open. Did you check that before you put the turbo on? I had a GCG on my 2.5 and it was as laggy as you describe, turned out the wastegate was being held open. Fixed that up, now nice and responsive.

According to my maths, 14 people x $20 = $280 $280 > $140 So, everyone is due a refund of $10 if you are going to stick to your word, plus due a damn CD.   16. I really dislike how the board at heatcote is before the finish line. At calder, you see your time right after you finish. You dont have to do all this park, stop, collect, surprize time stuff But yes, the 400m was where all the crap was painted on the road.
  17. Put the height in the rear up maybe 2cm, put on less camber (static camber will increase when the car is pulled lower) and maybe some stiffer spring rates and swaybars.
  18. weld the wastegate shut and put an external gate off the new manifold you'd have to make. i dont know why you would do that anyway, if you want noise, just get a split dump/front pipe in one and atmo vent the wastegate pipe.
  19. Paul, for a trap speed of 105mph, I would expect an ET around 13.5 - 13.0 with a good proper launch. Ive seen an AMG E55 run 12.5@108mph though. Then i think he ran an 11.9@118mph or so

  22. The youngest members here that I know of are me and AMS being 19/16 respectivly. Then couple of people around early 20's and most id say around 28+
  23. Stagea forums IMO are some of the best around. Its because no one here is a little 14 year old trying to be cool. We all are mature people who know to keep shut unless we actually know something about what needs to be said.
