When you go faster, it causes more heat, which causes more slip, which causes more heat and so on. These will help you cut down the temps those crucial extra degrees!

Ok guys, here we are, my turn now The cars been breaking up at higher RPM, so I put it on a dyno to give it a little play around and see whats the go. This was the first run of the car, still "colder" then the rest. The more runs it did, the worse the breakup got, so we have kinda concluded its the coilpacks that have shat themselves. Auto 4WD Stagea Only mods: GCG highflow 3 inch split dump/front pipe BTMBL 5 inch catco cat in 3 inch inlet/outlet 3 inch stainless fuji catback GTR FMIC with custom stainless pipes Pipercross air filter in stock airbox 040 fuel pump ~11psi (my new actuator spring pressure....) Coilpacks breaking up 5000+ RPM. You can see the car stuttering on the graph. Peak power at 6800 and still going 157.7awkw. I always thought these cars were peaky as. Not bad for a 100% stock untouched ECU. AFR were around 12.9 when on boost, around 14.5 off the boost from memory. As you can see, the car was still climbing. Once i get in the new coilpacks I think it will go much nicer/smoother. When i get the time, ill get around to putting in the cams/DFA/SITC(need to buy an ITC first) Also, SKA, can you please tidy this thread up and remove the off topic chitchat and all the "not working" etc talk? Just so we can have a more direct comparison of dyno graphs instead of 5 pages worth for like, 5-6 graphs Being a sticky would be nice too... nudge nudge

HKS make direct replacment dump pipes, using stock standard front pipes is possible, or any direct replacement front pipe thats aftermarket. To have the best performance, the dump pipes need to be longer, therefore the front pipe has to be smaller to fit in the same distance under the car. You need to buy a full dump/front pipe kit from Apexi if you want the longer split dump pipes.

I will see if I can design something like this into the spoiler, however I am not sure there is much we can do about it as the stagea rear is very perpendicular to the direction of travel and creates a very large venturi. keep you updates. 3intheback - i will send you a TNT con note thing this week via express post.

I am selling my Stagea because I no longer require its services. I agree that its a great car, but a smaller lighter faster coupe will allow me to get that extra entry speed, extra mid corner speed and better overal sports driving. I am thinking its not worth making a family wagon sportier, when i can should just take a sports car and make that sportier.

I am 100% genuine in selling my car right now. Stock or modified. I would prefer to sell it stock. I will be 100% honest with you if you ask about its problems or issues that need fixing, so you will know what you are getting. In its current form (rips rexies and holds good with R34 GTT with 200rwkw) I would be happy to walk away with 25k (GTR FMIC + SS pipes, GCG turbo, ENTIRE SK suspension kit, Towbar, EBC, Full exhaust with best available dump/cat on the market, AWESOME italian made sound system, new slotted fron rotors, endless SSS brake pads, braided brake lines, would include replaced gearbox aswell, R34 GTT wheels, Hankook tyres, 040 fuel pump and heaps of stuff ive forgotten). In stock (meaning, with 2 tonne towbar, good speakers in the doors, 2 point black wired aussie std alarm, R34 GTT wheels and 80% hankook k104's) trim I would let it go for ~$19,000ono. I would also replace the auto box before I sold it with a better conditon one. Check out this link to see what a stocko one costs you, and do the maths of how much ive furthur sunk into the car. Need some stock coilpacks for a series 2 RB25DET (1997). Naturally willing to pay for them too. I am in the east of Melbourne, prefer to keep it relativly local.
