  1. Did you buy that car off Alex? If so, why didnt you take the Nismo wheels with it too?
  2. Some aftermarket intercoolers produce a whistle noise when the air rushes between the fins. If performance is not affected, dont worry about it.
  3. General parts I get from Nissan (Filters/Bolts/Screws etc) Most parts are Skyline (Wreckers) Pads/Tailights etc I get off Yahoo Stagea specific parts, there are heaps of people wrecking them these days.

  7. they were some of the tightest on my car. Kinda says who's had non-stock suspension in before though...
  8. You will also most likely need a breaker bar to crack the nuts the first time they are removed. A person will also be most likely required when installing the new struts to force the hub down for the coilover to fit in the allowed space.
  9. Sorry but the stuff isnt really for sale anymore, I am going to sell it with the car.
  10. I am not doubtful of its performance, but just want some personal reviews. At the same time, similar suspension is used on most of the new Audi's, so I am sure its a great design.
  11. Does anyone have any information on the M35's suspension set up? Having a look at an eBay auction, I noticed something a little odd in this picture. The M35 has multi-link double wishbone rear suspension! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2001-Nissan-Stagea-...1QQcmdZViewItem Separate shocks and springs. Anyone got any other information on M35 suspension? Can anyone give any reviews of multi link double wishbones? Just thinking about my next non-drift related car..
  12. personally not a big fan of the front bar at all.
  13. No, they do not. However, the Stageas (irrespective of spec level) run R33/R34 hybrid version ECU's.
  14. Brendans (Bestians) was also cracked when he did the turbo swap. I have not checked mine yet, but there is no noise etc so I am assuming its OK.
  15. pinging is not really a ticking noise. pinging is more of a "two twenty cent pieces being shaken in a closed hand" kind of a sound.
  16. just hook up the pipe again disconnect the battery, pump the brakes/turn the headlights on, remove all the power from the ecu. unplug the ecu and leave for 20 minutes replug it all back up, ecu first, the battery dont worry about the o2 sensor, it will be fine. might want to change it anyway though.
  17. Try turning the climate control off and see if it still does the noise. Over time the fan can become dirty and therefore unbalanced, this will then cause it to "tap" against its housing. Happend to me about a year ago.
  18. Whats the issue with the ECU mate? Get a PowerFC for the thing, sorted out perfect from the get go.
  19. BUMP Make me an offer if you think the price is too high.
  20. Stageas use hybrid R33/R34 ECU's. The plug on the RS4's is R34, so id assume they did similar with the 260RS's. You might also find that the tune on a GTR ecu vs a 260RS ecu is also slightly different. What they did in RS4's was improve torque a little at the compromise of some top end power.
  21. No, compliance will never be available for the A32 model Cefiro.... you're pretty sad arnt you? WELL, Nissan actually sold A32's locally.... as Maximas. So there are about a billion around and heaps under 10k. http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...te=All%20States http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...te=All%20States http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...te=All%20States Just as examples.
  22. Basically, I have access to some cheap new tyres through a mate at a tyre shop. The choice is between Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 or Federal ss595 Currently, the Stagea sits on Pilot Preceda's, PP1's. Previously before that had K104's, Wanli's, Nankangs. If I was to rank the tyres that Ive used before, id probably scale Preceda K104 Nankang Wanli But, where do the two sets I am interested in now fit in? The only issue I have with buying another set of Michelins in that they damn well wear quickly on my heavy ass car. Don't think that they wear quickly because of daily driving, they wear quick because I drive the car pretty quickly in the hills. The Precedas lasted me about 5-6 hard hills runs. The K104's lasted about 15-20. To be honest though, they did grip better and were more progressive. Anyway, any comments on Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 or Federal ss595. Just to note, the federals are $40 a corner cheaper, but it doesnt phase me because all the tyres are still under $200 a corner.
