  7. Thats probably the inbuilt knock warning dude, you need to either get the afr tuned correctly or get the ignition sorted out as you are running too much advance.
  8. Hey SK, have you seen the turbo xs tuners? http://www.turboxs.com/more_info.php?ID=196 They have inputs for EGT monitoring and a headphone jack for a set of DET cans too. All for about 900 bux AUD.
  9. Links are shithouse, there is a reason people can't sell em second hand, they are a slow ecu. You guys need to buy a knocklink. I have one and use it to find out what load point is pinging when i'm doing a map trace. (Just foot flat to the floor and when the lights light up on the knocklink i back off and see what the last load point was i went through. Adjust from there) Can't wait till this Data-logit group buy happens so i can tune the AFR dead flat. There only so much you can do power wise without altering the AFR.

  11. Hey put me down! I've been trying to get one for ages! Version v1:110 to suit wrx I assume it will work with the gtr power fc too because it is the same version? I hope it does hehe
  12. Altering the afm values can put you in a different load site on the graph, thats the only way its going to affect timing. Best to set the afr to a nice value and adjust ignition from there.
  13. You idiots! Its called an airflow correction table because you are altering airflow values! You are getting more knock by doing this because your car is running leaner and more prone to pinging. If you wanna alter ignition, you have to alter the ignition table lol.
  14. jezzerrr i agree with you totally, i don't own a gtr but i usually respect people who have em. I hate it when scumbags just go out and buy these cars with nfi coz someone has told em that they are cool.
  15. Yeah i'd lie to know aswell. Does the datalogit software allow you to tune via a laptop?
  16. I got one and its tops. Do some research before you buy, because there are compromises for both types of tracking.
  17. Hey Ben, i think they actually got that shitty vn commie into the 11's! As for lag. my rex with the standard turbo and tb exhaust could reach 17 psi by 2500 rpm, is that laggy?
  18. I think they have given undesireable effects in the past when they were removed.
  19. How is a rb25det 20 times better than an ej20? The ej20 is making more torque than the rb25det and more power for its capacity.
