  1. Missed this notification from ages ago. He's not responded yet, despite near daily emails.
  2. Mercifully I've got all his banking info, address, etcetera. There's a way to manage it, it's just not going to be fun.
  3. Yeah, the rest of the gear was there. The shims were buggered though... tolerances were tight enough that on some valves I couldn't even get my thinnest feeler gauge in there. If I hadn't checked, I would've snapped the cams on first startup. Hopefully he ends up reaching out to me. If he needs time that's fine... it's just hard when somebody disappears on you and leaves you footing the bill. I've bought probably a hundred items on web forums. Numerous cars, motors, bodywork, wheels, all manner of parts... you name it. And most of it internationally, given the nature of the cars I focus on. This is the first one that's bit me. Ah well. Hopefully I won't need to reach out to his bank.
  4. alright guys time has come where i do not have the time or effort for cars anymore as much as it kills me i think its time to part with everything. so head has been fully done by top rpm motorsport. parts list tomei 270 pro cams tomei solid buckets tomei 1mm over size valves tomei cam cap studs tomei type b springs and retainers supertech bronze valve guides supertech valve locks full cnc ported intake/exhaust/cam relieves might be missing something but its been build to handle hp... parts that i could add with it and make it a complete head are: all covers tomei cam gears h11 head studs hks drag gasket kit intake manifold 9000 just for the head and can start adding parts from there. if it doesnt sell for what i want ill just keep it and take my time doing it.. but feel free to make offers on the hole lot but wont be selling the other parts untill the head sells slacks creek brisbane I ended up buying and receiving this head from Neville. I've attempted to leave feedback, but something's gone wrong with the feedback system. I thought I'd put a post in here to give people a heads-up. I received the built head in a few Corona boxes with the cams torqued down and valves extended [and unprotected]. Upon further inspection, I found that the incorrect cams were included in the head, and the clearances were dangerously out. Neville was initially responsive, stating that he would cover the costs of having the proper cams purchased and installed. After I'd had the work done, Neville stopped replying to my emails, sticking me with a $1200 bill. I've dropped him about a dozen emails, PMs, and a payment request. It's a shame; this is the first time I've ever been hosed by a forum purchase. Unfortunately recourse is difficult for me being overseas. So tread lightly with this one in the future.
  5. Hey folks, I'm attempting to leave negative feedback on a seller's profile, but the feature doesn't appear to be functioning at this time. When I fill out the form and submit, it tells me that the "Topic" field is required, even though I have put a link to the thread in there. I've tried a full link, partial link, thread title, and thread number. I've tried it in a few different browsers as well. Any thoughts? This bloke's left me with a $1200 bill and won't reply to emails, I desperately want to leave feedback to warn others that he can't be trusted. Thanks!
  6. I keep on getting rejected from joining the group for some reason. So I suppose I'm still looking for an R34 AC setup...!
  7. Thanks for the tip! I've just tried to join the group.
  8. Hey folks, I'm looking for a complete AC setup for an R34 GT-R. I'm turning a former track car into a street car and desperately need some AC to help save myself from the summer heat. If anybody has taken the full AC setup out of their R34... I'll take it!
  9. Hey folks, I'm in the market for a built motor, new or reasonably used. I had a line on a Tomei Advance Spec, but it fell through unfortunately. I'll be reaching out to some builders in the near future, but I figure it's worth throwing a feeler out there in case anyone is considering parting with their motor. It'll be going into an R34, but I can easily migrate my 34 sensors and odds/ends to employ a 32/33 motor. Ideal specs would echo the Tomei Advance Spec within reason. Aiming for the 650ps range - so a midrange build on an N1 block for the street/track. Planned turbos are 2530s for now, migrating to Full Race's EFR twins package when they're exhausted. Thanks all.
