  1. lol, I know that look
  2. I know, but not talking about the differences between a S1, 2 and 3
  3. I have a gts4 box i've especially modified to suit eleventybillion kw's, I was gonna gear it up to a CFM56 I was gonna get from work so I could cook marshmellows in my exhaust on cold nights. But then I realised that strapping a couple of tonne of jet engine to my bonnet might effect my handling even with 30,000lb's of thrust. no really I do have a gts4 box....and it's modified.....comes in two parts now......
  4. Ford driver on Skyline forum....he's just jealous cos he looses all the time
  5. No differences between the engines in a v-spec and non v-spec model. There are however slight differences between the 32, 33 and 34 engines. Oh and just a note as well, in a 33 there's no differences in the barkes and steering wheel either
  6. Hey dude, really sucks when shit like this happens, similar thing have happened to me but not with the skyline thank god. If he has admited fault, lodge a claim with your insurance and say the father admited fault and go from there. Basically as I know, as long as he admits fault even if it is your fault he is responsible. I think in this situation technically you are to blame as you didn't give way, I know it sucks ass, I had to foot the bill when someone (paper boy) drove into my mates driveway as I was reversing out, I was watching the side mirror to make sure i didn't run over the plants (curved driveway) and he drove in behind me and just stopped and i hit him, this was still on his property mind you and as the law sees it I was at fault cos apparantley I didn't give way he was stopped i hit him.....long shit fight over that one and I still came out worse off. My advice, just be nice about it all, don't try and rip him off or anything as he has already admited fault and hopefully it should work out ok for you. P.S: If this doesn't make sense it's cos i been out all night and i can't sleep now.....
  7. one of my friends made some up for his soarer using the process mad082 explained. If done well they actually look really good. Although they are only there for looks they don't actually replace your headlights or really even give of any light at all like parkers (the bmw ones etc. obviously do cos their better). I have seen it done also on cars with square headlights and it looks gay, doesn't suit at all. If you have projector headlights (the little round dome type ones inside the headlight assembly) go for it they look awesome! I like the idea of these custom made headlights, where are you guys buying the spotlights with them already, and got any pics of them out of the car, would be interested to see if a set could be 'incoroporated' into the standard headlight assembly....perhaps with a bit of modification.....
  8. lol can't say I noticed, I just posted hmmm really need to set aside an afternoon one day just to read the conversion thread...might actually learn something....
  9. hmmm interesting, well someones getting stooged. I asked a few of my friends with custom plates and one even showed me his rego renewal letter cos he just got it and none of them pay a yearly fee for their plates. They have probably all got the plates post 2000ish.....
  10. What are the Piston Oil Squirters? Well I know what they are, where do they go and is it possiable/needed to put them in?
  11. isn't that the same as the ones on the geelong freeway. good thing for me I only go under 1 set on the way two and from work :sorcerer:
  12. dunno, how long ago was that? Nobody I know pays a yearly fee for personalised plates in vic. It's just the one of payment to begin with. Wrong! same as vic except 5x the price, so gay, the plate I want is avaliable up there too
  13. hmmmmz, no you don't it's only a one of payment as well to get the plates.....
  14. Titanium is better
  15. Why are custom QLD plates so expensive, like is there actually a reason for it? The plates I want are $2195 the same plate in vic is only $395.
  16. Also very interested....How does it work does he make up a pattern of your set-up then mould a box to suit or are they more of a generic thing?

  20. lol yer and speeding fines......
  21. There's a trust 6spd dog bog for sale in the for sale section.....awesome price too
  22. I'd go the 40's bigger sidewall = more flex = better grip. Plus 35's will make for a harsher ride.....just get the speedo recalibrated.....
  23. It has a pressure sender unit, (little round cylinder thing) which you screw in somewhere and it sense's the oil pressure and sends an electronic signal back to the gauge. Installing it there are a few options, you can either remove the stock sender and replace it with the new one but then your dash gauge will no longer work. A sandwich plate on the filter is probably the easiest but check and make sure before hand there is room for the sender to screw into it, this will also make it easier if you want to install an temp gauge as well. The other way to go it is to go down to somewhere like HIS hose and get a T piece with one male and 2 female fittings to suit (will have to be male on one end of the T and female on the in and other end of the T, clearance thing again) Personally i'd go the sandwich plate route. Means all the stock stuff is left alone and it's more shinny stuff for your engine
  24. lol thats bland.... http://www.inthejob.com/Vic_MarkGTO.jpg http://www.inthejob.com/P4030001.jpg http://www.inthejob.com/vicsmart2.jpg ^^ There are newer version of these just can't find pics..... Welcome to victoria.....the place to be defected.....
  25. Ah ok cool, thanks for that thought thats what it might be. Will have to go in search of some adapters and fittings etc. will probably end up taking that one of and using another one with some more useable fittings on it.
