  1. My 32 has Tokiko Potenza struts and springs, front and rear Spats braces and some urethane bushes. Handles very well, a little too low maybe but you really have to push it to get it to slide out and it turns in very well.... Its limited to filter, boost, exhaust though power isn;t huge.
  2. Mine has it and a mates has it here as well.... Behind the front wheel on the underneath of the floor plan rust has set it fairly well under the grey paint/sealant stuff they use from the factory. Mine had two bits about the size of a 50 cent piece on both sides in the same place.... I've hammered and sanded it back and sealed and bogged it. Mates was far worse with about 6 inches of rust on each side. Its easy to miss cause you have to stick your head right under the car. If you've never looked get out there and look! he he, cheers!
  3. if its just the normal spooling sound its fine, mine does it too with an HKS pod. Don't forget the inlet isn't very long so the turbo will be quite audible. If its a shreiking noise then one of the gaskets is pinged.....
  4. Hey guys, I know other people have this problem. When I wind the drivers window up, it turns in to early and spikes the seal. Its ripped in the corner from years (in Japan) of this happenning. No matter how I adjust it it doesn't seem to change. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone found a place to get the threaded winders that adjust the regulator in the door? its pissing me off and I don't wanna buy another seal until I can fix it. Is Novus the only answer? cheers!
  5. Cheers dude, I rang Nissan and they said there are 5 versions? WTF? they can't get prices they need to ring Japan. Pathetic. I'm guessing I'm gonna need a part number for them to have half a clue what I want.....
  6. Yeah I mean the seal the window closes against.... 150 isn't too bad I guess...
  7. Explain how you get this kind of economy? PLEASE!
  8. Guys, R32 GTR spoiler, fibreglass, white, good nick - $150 R32 GTS-t bonnet silver, good nick - $100 Ultra-Flo Stainless Muffler 2 inch, good nick, suit Lancer etc - $80
  9. I think the biggest killer for the R33 isn't so much that they're ugly cause they aren't. Its just the fact they are SO common, people are sick of seeing them same with S13s. With regards to R33 GTRs, although they are a far superior car, $30+ K now gets you into a lot newer cars with the same kind of performance. Unless you're giving it a hurting or really know what you want most people would find a WRX or SS commy would give them the same kind of buzz without realising why the GTR costs what it does. Don't get me wrong i'm not comparing them, but as far as the general car buying public goes, the other two cars are only a few years old as opposed to 8+. Its the same thinking that sees people buying WRXs thinking they're rally cars or SS buyers thinking they're buying Skaifes car.... A lot of bad taste with ANY car is the way they are modified. Having owned two Silvias I can tell youm without any contest they are the most HIDEOUSLY modified car ever. It all come down to the purchase price. Shitty neons, GT wings 13 inch wheels. Its the same as Excels and Civics. R33s are lesser afflicted but don't come out unscathed whereas most R32s i've seen seem to be going for the drifter, "I prang my car every 4 minutes so why fix it or wash it"look
  10. Thanks Joli! Bottom hose Bastard nissans..... he he cheers dude....
  11. MY drivers side seal is cracked and torn in the corner. How much are these from Nissan Iwells?
  12. where is the thermostat located on a R32? My temp is up and down.
  13. O2 sensor! Try it! Its not gonna be chugging smoke.... it can still run too rich
  14. My plugs are gapped right, correct heat range everything cleaned.... Problem is still there!!! It blows..... Someone must have a solution?
  15. Yeah, mine had a GTR front bar although that switch did operate the fog lights. When I took the gauge surround off the fog light button was disconnected and run from there to another plug which hooked it up to the centre console.... I disconnected it here and plugged it back into the dash switch. Must be a factory thing.
  16. no I mean either the ones in the headlights, the ones on the front bar or both.
  17. Again, anyone confirm the VL ones fit and work accurately? Mine is dodgy...
  18. If you're talking about the centre console one with a head light symbol on it behind the gear stick then it controls the factory in-headlight fog lights and the ones that were optional on the typeM front bar. It allows you to operate them individually.
  19. yeah mine has the gap between the shelf and the back seat. As they are not a split fold design the backrest hangs on these little metal hooks. These are so pathetically weak its not funny, they fold up if you look at them wrong. If you mess around with them enough times trying to get it right like me, theyr'e never the same hence the gap.... Mine was removed to run stereo cable etc so its probably the same. Get dark window tint and you can't see it. Its not a problem from the inside.... AS for the wind noise, yes mine is very noisy, I have messed around with the window alignment trying to get it right and that's what's caused the wind noise. Maybe they need to be re done? nothing major though. You'll find most pillarless cars have a fair degree of wind noise. As for the dents and such underneath. You have to remember these are not new cars anymore so some accidents (little ones like clipping curbs) of bottoming out will more then likely have happened. My R32 has a few little dings and stuff underneath, its pretty common. I wouldn't worry unless the damage is severe. The car is old so it may or may not creak regardless. Mine does not. These cars are not cheap for no reason! they're oldies but goodies. Mine also has a litttle bit of rust i'll be fixing. Again, an age thing, if its small and fixable its still worth it, mine has no other rust other then a 50 cent sized piece right behind the drivers front wheel about a foot back on the underside.. Several I've seen also have it....
  20. R32 Exhaust, rims, filter, TT, manual $11,500 (imported)
  21. Hey guys, Do these RSMs work on R32s? I saw on the Apexi site it only suits vehicles with electronic speedos yet some people i've heard have them? I was interested in the Speedo feature only really..... not bothered about the other stuff. If not, do any work in R32s?
  22. Far out..... thought it would be pretty cheap. The glue worked but the tube has to be spot on or it wiggles the speedo like mine is now.... Apexi RSM don't work on R32s do they? stupid mechanical speedo..... Anyone confirm the VL one fits?
  23. Isn't the black box on the firewall you're asking about the stock boost guage sendor? Its on the firewall with a plug, vacuum line going in etc. Shoot me if im wrong....
  24. I coated the entire pack up to the socket when I did mine, probably over kill but its been 3 weeks now and its still fine. I used roof and gutter silicone, good up to 150 degrees. Only cost 6 bucks for the tube.
