  2. thanks ben.. yeah i was much happier driving along after the instructor made me get ontop of my braking!!!
  3. yep the weekend and a few cans will see you do it right!
  4. mate, you'll manage... I did it myself and if I can do it, you can do it! one thing I do recommend though is taking a picture before you start so you have a reference of how it all goes back together!!!
  5. Your post isn't cool. People aren't going to learn anything about their car if you guys always assume new people know what you might know. anjoO - I haven't had any dealings with Just Jap before, but if you just take the trip out there and inspect the parts to make sure they meet the quality you are after I don't see a problem with it.. and if you don't know what you are looking for, perhaps ask one of the older members of the forum who'll know a little more (I'm no expert! lol but I do know a few things!) I personally go for the quality over the price, I went to Hi-Tech at Darlinghurst for my dump pipe and cat, had a few problems with the part but they fixed it up in no time at all at no extra charge. I would recommend them in a second to anyone wanting exhausts done but again, inspect the part first! Hope this helps. Liz.
  6. isn't it about time you brought that pretty car of yours out to play?
  7. wouldn't have a clue all i know is most of them were HSVs with big fat semi slicks on them... and mullets to match
  8. chubb- i can comfirm that i got a hiding lol
  9. Guys - I have the same problem... everything on the right side of my car seems to get water seeping through, quite strange really. I'm going to dry the indicator our with a hair dryer (which will also soften the sealant currently in there so I can take it off and re-seal it. Anyone tried this, anyone have any comments about this procedure before I dive into it?? Liz.
  10. Can I make a suggestion that you might not be happy with. Take it to a suspension place and get them to teach you how to do it and what you should be adjusting to etc I only have stock suspension and know next to nothing about teins but I wouldn't dream of touching something that important without knowing a fair bit about it.
  11. ps I got picked on by the V8 boys coz none of you pussys came out!
  12. faster than you mate. that's all you need to know lol nah kidding, I'll let you know when I get the info from Ben!
  13. This was fun! Benm.. can you pm me times from teh last session if you got them? I'm expecting them to be a bit slower than earlier in the day.. but the driving was by far better... got control of that braking and understeer!!! GO ME!
  14. It's quite surprising how many workshops don't know their stuff when it comes to imports. I've recently learnt the value of going to a reputable workshop that works on the same model car as mine, day in day out. The workshop I went to took the time out to run through the breakdown of the work with me and I think I infact paid less than I would have done if I went somewhere that didn't know exactly what they were doing.
  15. this is true lol
  16. Hi Chris - I've deposited the money today and sent an email to morgs. Thanks!
