  1. thank you baron. there's an ass gallery too http://www.biot.co.jp/asse_di_biot_gallery.html
  2. 350z brembo rear rotor is I think 322mm... so if you can sneak in an extra 3mm of radius, you might be able to use this... that would be a good result - I run an R33 brembo with an offset kit and 3pce rear rotor to give 322mm... the kit was super dear too!
  3. your measurements are probably right (from DBA) I was pulling them from old grey matter upstairs. some fly-in-ointment stuff though for you... you can't just assume that if the GTR std is 297 and the STi is 316, then the diff is 19mm therefore ~9.5mm bigger radius rotor will be fine. see if you draw a circle through the two mounting bolts on the GTR, and measure the radius to the centre of the hub, and do the same with the STi mounting bolts, then this theory is OK BUT, if the STi mount is, say 10mm larger radius, than the GTR, then the rotor size should be 297 + 19 (diff b/w GTR rotor and STi) + 20 (diam. difference in mount between GTR and STi) = 336mm rotor. similarly, if the STi mount is 10mm smalller radius, then the rotor size should be 297 + 19 - 20 = 298mm this takes into account the possible variance in length of the caliper lug mount lengths. do I make sense or am I cross eyed again?
  4. is the adapter bracket machined from billet or welded? Looks welded.
  5. isn't the factory GTR 32 rear rotor 300mm, and the STi 308mm? You need to get the bolt circle radius (or diameter) of the GTR and the STi, then do the calc to arrive at your final rotor diameter in a GTR application... is this how you got to a 340mm rotor??
  6. nismo super coppermix - not sure how much they are here, now though...
  7. you'll just need an adapter (dogbone) made up, it helps if you know the original rotor diameter too
  8. For sale: '91 R32 GTR Gearbox. It's a pull type, but seeing that I've ordered a new push gearbox, and i'll need the front plate from my current box, this will be sold as a pull (I think) Price and price conditions: $500 pick up melb Pictures: in the car now, can be seen running Contact Details: post here or PM Location: Will be avail in Melbourne, inner north Delivery & Conditions of Delivery: pick up only The gearbox is currently in the car. I initially thought it was leaking, but it's actually the transfer case. The gearbox is from a log booked Aussie GTR, with 115K on the clock. Things to note are: 1. the output bearing is a bit noisy, but still fine 2. the 5th gear syncro is lazy when cold, but fine when warm. With Redline shockproof the syncro is fine, but I recently changed to Castrol and it's a bit recalcitrant with Castrol. Recommend that you use Redline. The gearbox will be avail in a few weeks, but I've posted now so that if you are genuine, and want to see how it runs, you can. thanks
  9. the bilstien mono B6/8 is a good unit, from what i've read.
  10. we're not quite as advanced as you are up there in NSW...
  11. lazy buggars... DBA website lists the 2005 STi rear rotor as 316mm and 20mm thick vented.
  12. the problem with those ones, bomberman, is you never are really sure how much the getrag box has been fiddled with...
  13. sh!t that looks alot like... my engine bay! lol That looks greener than it is, here's another one JW0 is the right code.
  14. i have -5s, stock BOVs, no balance pipe, no shuffle...

    Cyclists?

I'm a cyclist, and i've been hit by two of you dumb arses with bad attitudes - while doing the right thing. Both times I've been ok. Bike not so much. 1500kg vs 90kg - which do you think wins? Don't think i don't give cyclists doing the wrong thing a serve when they run red lights etc... If anyone ever saw you on a bike, ben, they'd be a bit silly to try and kill you. lol.
  16. yeah would really like to be able to remove some pictures from my gallery...
  17. 1. Bathurst GTRs had the japanese tail lights (4 red ones) 2. You can't get the bumper trim piece to fit in the gap where the reverse lights are 3. is this like putting an M3 badge on your 318i? Ali don't do it!!
  18. lol you didn't see anyone and have assumed it was a woman...
