Just as a follow up, pin 41 works perfect for the signal for a shift light....
-
Hi, I have an old school RAZO dual stage shift light, and have hooked up the tach sense wire to pin 7 (yellow with red trace) on a R32 GTST and it is not seeing the correct signal. I also hooked up behind the tacho with the same result. The factory tacho works perfect, and I have tested this in my other car, a SVO Fairmont Ghia which has the same shift light, and the modules are both working correctly. When I looked at the instructions that came with it, it is stating to pick up pin 41 (Green with black trace) Crank Position sensor (120') Before I do this, I just wanted to see if anyone has come across this before? I did some searching in the forums, but came blank with hooking up to pin 41... Cheers Ange

Rb20 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results
HCR32 type M replied to R31Nismoid's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Completely stock (K&N panel filter) and perfectly running 206,000km 1992 R32 GTST series 2 type M. 4th gear pull to about 165km/h. I thought I would do a base line pull to see what I am starting with. Sat on 9-10lbs the whole way through and AF was perfect as well. Possibly the lowest dyno figure for the website!!! Also zero correction factor on a near new mainline dyno... -
I know these are hard to get, but I was just wondering if anyone has one to sell.. Cheers Angelo

Hi Flow Cat recommendations

I will be fabricating what ever option I end up with. So use a 200 cell 4" hi-flow cat and fab up the correct flanges to suit each end? -

I thought the cat goes in between the dump and the Kakimoto? I have both parts on the way, so I haven't physically seen them yet... -
Hi Guys, I have a Just Jap 3" dump pipe and the Kakimoto REGU 06&R 3.5" cat back exhaust. I was wondering what to do about a hi flow cat. The three options are 100 cell 3" hi-flow cat, 100 cell 3.5" hi-flow cat or a transition from 3" to 3.5" (no cat). It is going in a R32 GTST with the RB20 and will be running a Hypergear ball bearing hi-flow turbo (G2 or G3 trim, not sure yet) on the standard exhaust manifold. It will be mostly driven on the street. Let me know what you think... Cheers Ange

R32 GTST Tailshaft Universal rebuild
HCR32 type M replied to HCR32 type M's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Thanks for the heads up, just got off the phone with them!! All good. -
Hi Guys, The front universal joint on my R32 tail shaft is worn and needs replacing. It has 3-4mm of play.... Can anyone recommend a shop in Victoria who can press in the new universal and balance the complete tail shaft? I am assuming that I remove the output shaft from the gearbox and the complete tail shaft (to the diff) to do this job... Cheers
