  1. My work Xmas party this arvo. I might drive out afterwards.
  2. I just came back from a drive out to Tidbinbilla in the R32. The only way out there from the south, is through Tharwa. Wasn't a bad drive, except I found more damage on the R32. Corin Road is also closed but I didn't get all the way out to the cotter. I didn't realise that the cruise was on saturday. I have soo many things to goto so I'll probably bring the Silvia and hang around for a while.
  3. I wonder how much it would subside by Sunday........ Fifth Gear are having their Christmas Rush event at Marulan on the same day.
  4. Soft....... I'm still undecided with the car. The R32 feels really rough, there might be more things that the thieves had damaged than what I thought.
  5. I might turn up in the R32 now, instead of the Silvia..... see what happens I guess.
  6. I saw this on AllClassifieds today http://www.allclassifieds.com.au/ac/ac0034?gcid=122995074
  7. I would think that lifting the car, letting the struts hang and then fitting the strut bar would cause the brace to undergo compression when it is returned to road height. From my understanding the strut brace was to prevent the tops from spreading apart.
  8. Lol, I'm pretty confident that all suspension bits should be tightened while the car is sitting on it's own weight. Nothing should be loaded except due to gravity, unless you want it to be. You should not notice any changes in alignment. And, if you do fit the brace when the car is sitting on the road, wheel alignment will not change.
  9. I am in the process of fixing the R32 from when it was stolen. My replacement rims should arrive early next week and the last part I need to get the car going is a Steering column with ignition barrel. I don't need the key but I do need the bits that houses the lock. Please let me know if someone might have a half cut laying around. From experience the column is normally discarded once the engine is removed.
  10. Lol, I think i was about 15mins ahead of you. I only saw a Mini but I waited 5mins and left.
  11. From what I was told, my R32 was dumped around that area as well.
  12. Yeh, I saw it this morning as well. I think have seen a similar car around Southside, but this one has NSW plates.
  13. I took a couple of photos today. Looks like I was more tired than I thought and a large amount of my photos where not in focus..... Anyway, it was a fun day. Good to meet up with people I haven't seen in a while and also meet new people. Next time I will make sure I sleep before the event .
  14. A couple of the NS.com guys will be turning up tonight. Please say Hello if they are shy
  15. I can bring the R31 Clubs BBQ gear.
  16. Not long to go now. I'm bringing my Silvia up instead of a RB powered car. Hopefully it won't break down but reliability has been pretty poor . How much track time do you normally have at one of these as I am only planning to bring 1 pair of brand newies....
  17. Yep, Seb I'll give you a call about when were planning to leave on Sunday morning.
