  1. turbo and manifold sat into place just to see what doesn’t clear and of corse the 100s of dollars in fittings required (will still need more)
  2. Once everything is fabed up it will all come back off and parts will be ceramic/powder coated
  3. Meant to do this post days ago but have been flat out the turbo is a 6466 with a .84ts rear on it manifold is a 6 boost t4 twinscroll with twin 40mm gates and the gates are turbosmart 40mm gates in black
  4. Yes I’m a twin scroll twin gate poof ? gotta be able to say something is twin
  5. I guess I should show the photo I’ve held back cause it kills me in side ?but it’s still twin scroll and twin gate so do I get to keep my badge?
  6. And off come the turbos, you can see here the rear one has been spewing oil and explains why last time I changed the oil it was pretty low front one out againand both gonetook the cam cover back off just give myself more room for screwing around
  7. We couldn’t push the power any further last time it was tuned because even slightly more boost caused surge issues, I just think it’s couldnt get enough air out anymoreWhich means out comes the exhaust cam New and old side by side, it’s a camtech 264 with 9.5mm lift shims for the lash adjustment and all back in, then I pushed the car out of the garage and started the car and ran the cam in as per the instructions. with the vcam taking all the over lap out the idle is still smooth but has a much deeper note and is a bit louder
  8. I was looking at picking up a couple of other things in the future as well
  9. Jldesignfab.com but the r32 ones are currently sold out
  10. I actually bought it from a place I found out Facebook, I’ll find the link
  11. Things have started moving forward slowly started with some very small and simple but something skylines r32s have always neededit’s a drink holder that’s been 3D printed fits in perfectly and a 600ml bottle sits in there
  12. I hope the 76mm can handle around that power cause I don’t want to lose the mesh
  13. Haven’t seen front windows for years
  14. The two main parts are all anyone uses anyway, everyone that rebuilds throws everything else out
  15. You’ll need a laptop with 2 different tunes
  16. Yes and the bracket/pump offset is slightly different as well
  17. And then to complicate it even further is that your 1bar of boost is just the pressure that’s caught in the manifold and not an actual measure of the extra airflow/pressure that has made it into the cylinders
  18. Every time I’ve seen one break it’s been the bolt on the idler. I was unfortunate enough to have it happen on my first skyline in 2002, gave me a good reason to get rid of the rb20 and fit an rb25 though ?
  19. Aussie versions of cars also end up with factory immobilizors where the Japanese ones won’t
  20. It’s not cheaper but a lot cheaper then when the stock one breaks. I didn’t look at shipping, a trip to rocket ind and a catalogue surely would make it cheaper
  21. Great idea, seen to many break and it’s not cheap when they do
  22. Seriously dude you should stop giving advice
