  1. We replaced the connector just because we could and it was still there, once we swapped the injectors around it stopped. The injectors were something I had thoughts of replacing even before I first started the engine and in hindsight I should have
  2. Decided we would get it tuned before gtr fest, due to some delays with other cars mine went on the dyno at about 6pm Friday night. 98 tune done we start flexing 10% 20% 30% all the way to 80 and then it’s time to give it hell aaaannnnd miss on number 4 😔 change plugs, still there, check coils, still there, decide to swap injectors to see if it moves, rev clean!! Try again, revs clean?? I made the call to pull the pin anyway because if it decides to play up with 35-40psi of boost in it and 7,000rpm, it will torch a cylinder before you’d even realize it had done it and I’m not risking it for a $200 injector. So new set ordered we did make the car drivable so I could take it to gtr fest. Finally got to drive it on e85 (slowly) its even better then it was! It’s so responsive, with under half throttle it cracking gate around 3,300 but mind you it is only 10-12psi at the moment IMG_2234.mov
  3. Like the people who blow 5 stock boxes at 3k a hit when they could have bought a fully built box for 12k in the first place
  4. You’ve already cracked a factory block, why would another factory block be any different
  5. The prices I’ve heard aren’t that bad
  6. Lucky the prp block is supposed to be released next weekend
  7. Just don’t be silly enough to think it’ll never happen either
  8. You don’t need to use full throttle all the time to break these blocks, 500kw at the wheels in more then enough to break them even with an occasional squirt. Hell I’ve seen them break under 400kw
  9. It’s doesnt matter how good anyone thinks their fabrication skills are it’ll never be a 100% fit

I just want to go back to Japan
  11. If you get a 33 pump, bracket and harmonic balancer that will bolt straight up
  12. You’ll want to have the block drilled and tapped to suit 1/2in head studs and the head for the same. How much power do you intend to make?
  13. If they’re on the heritage list then try nismodirect.com or grab it from rezz
  14. Nissan Australia say a lot of things are discontinued, then I went to the omori factory and there’s every badge for the r32 gtr brand new along with the key
  15. The once piece tail shafts with cv type joints on either end are the ones that end up vibrating and the vibration is caused by the cv joint binding as it turns, I’ve also seen them explode from the binding
  16. If you’re in Australia and need a one piece tail shaft give propeller shaft repairs in concord a call. They do all the big Sydney cars and they don’t vibrate at all don’t get one either cv joints, they bind and cause the vibrations
  17. They have a life time warranty on cracking as long as you don’t wrap them
  18. Get a 6 boost manifold, a Garrett or precision turbo that will make the power you want, call someone like mobile custom fabrication that can come to your house and do good fab for you. Get a bigger fuel pump and injectors and a modern ecu like haltech or link. Then take the car to be tuned at a shop with a good reputation, I use just engine management in ingleburn
  19. https://lamspeedracing.com/products/nissan-rb-180amp-high-output-alternator-direct-fitment-rb20-25-26-30?srsltid=AfmBOop9-VWIXaJSdAL0BZh0XJVdn9-996NFg_tWyqBbbHmEswJsQX6h that’s the one there, I couldn’t use any of the ls1 based one due to the oil pump
