Any more info on this 'sub ten grand car' that does 200km/h through a corner??? I'LL TAKE TWO OF THEM!!!! We're obviously on a different wavelength, we are talking about OUR cars in which WE drive at the track, and you comparing that to professional drifters. How about we compare it to YOUR drifting experience... And how many people have been seriously injured or killed in circuit racing in the last 5 years compared to drifting???? Let's get back to the original discussion, as this one has has definetly run its course.... Looking forward to what the guest speaker has to say....

Pfffttt, 170km/h on a race track, sif that's fast?? How about going through a corner at 200km/h and holding on for dear life!!! You might be going into the corner at 170 but what speed are you coming out at?? When it comes to high speed stuff, there's no comparison, drifting is definetly not the quickest way around a track...

Yeah, I reckon Tassie will be good, not too far and a fairly fast track I here..... Isn't a forum member by the name of 'sav man' from Tassie, I think he's involved in motorsport aswell, maybe drop him a PM???

Comparing a porsche turbo to a GTR, ummm even if the GTR was 5 seconds slower around the Nurburgring, I think many have overlooked the most important difference. Now is the porsche 2 or 3 times more expensive than the GTR??? I guess the old Datsun doesn't do too bad at all.... P.S This is not a dick swinging contest, just thought an important factor was missing from the discussion....

Yep, was at this round at calder spectating, very exciting to watch, that orange cobra had some mumbo down the straight!!!!! But the Porsche had him in the corners, they changed positions 20 times in the ten lap race and the cobra won by a tenth of a second over the porsche after ten laps....

John, SAUVIC is not in a position to run a track day at PI, and if it were we wouldn't be able to get a 'no noise limit' day. A PIARC weekend is our best bet, we get the numbers and get the entry forms in, Saturday is practice and familiarisation (heaps of laps!!) and Sunday is timed sprints. I'm thinking about running mine, curious to see how she goes, then again, I've had my fair share of blown gearboxes lately.. Will see closer to the date, otherwise will be there in the truck later in the day to collect all the dead cars...

Was a great day, John in the Zed managed a 1:47.4!!! Awesome result for his first time at PI!!! TOP EFFORT!!! Also big congrats to Ryan, 1:55 is definetly moving....

Cheers Nick, those xenons are not cheap, even from Yahoo!!! They make the car look so different though, my car is a 95 model.... Paul - lmgt4's are so last year, R34GTR rims on 32's and 33's is so in!!!....

Care to elaborate?? By using the word 'seem' I'm assuming your saying they look like they're good but aren't. You fixed your gearbox yet???

Al - cheers mate, lets just say its an easy car to drive!!! You can come in a passenger lap anytime... Roy - looking at your footage your definetly busy behind the wheel, obviously there is a small issue with stability, but nothing a little countersteer and throttle can't fix!!! Awesome driving I must say, you control it well and the times show it...
