  1. mechanics usually pull the sender out and hook up a oil pressure gauge to see if there is pressure there. if its there then faulty sender, happen to me but different car.
  2. is there seperate relays for left and right headlights ??? if so is it possible to join the two switch wires up which turn the relay on. that way wen u turn the knob on for the lights and there is bad contact, u still get both the relays goin on ??
  3. one of me mates plastic welded a front bar and then used fibreglass to make it stronger.
  4. i've got the whole dash which i wanna get rid of but its missing some vents, don't know if its any good to ya, probably get rid of it for cheap. although i noticed your in WA.
  5. are u talking about the complete dash or just the intrument cluster??
  6. nah sorry dude, all i know is its just a plug in computer from blitz which is supposed to have better timing and mapping etc. but i have no dyno results or anything like that, only what ppl have told me about it.

  10. the only thing that is covering the terminals on a factory pump (r32 gtst) is a little rubber cover for the positive lead terminal, the negative terminal is exposed bare. So if out of the factory they werent worried about sealing these connections then why would we. As long as the wires are crimped properly and nut screwed on tight, it shud be kool. i pulled the banjo fitting supplied with the 910 off and didnt use it.
  11. the ecu picks up sensors from the dash aswell as gearbox i think, thats why RSM not working properly. not sure what the cauz is for the dash. if it keeps blowing fuses sound like a dead short sumwhere. have to get out the multimeter and start buzzing to check for shorts to ground. pain in the backside. maybe a wire is rubbing on metal and worn away the insulation.
  12. i gotta put mine in soon, to make it fit, i was told u have to cut the pipe going down to the pump, so its shorter and join it to the top of the pump with rubber hose and clamps. there shud be lots of info in the search section the height of the sock when fitted to the new pump shud be same height as standard so the pik up point is the same.
  13. gave them a call today, chick on the phone told me it starts at 10 and cost $10 to watch
  14. not sure dude, i jus checked out the website and no times are there for sunday. they gave a phone number so i will give that a go 2moro
  15. i know the small one is the sensor for your temp gauge in the dash and the bigger i beleive is what Mark said, the temp sender to ur ECU. i think the information from the big sensor along with other sensors control the idling. (i think)
  16. give avi a call 0410-314-107
  17. gtstii - thanx for the link, helps alot, i called up bosch 2day and they said the same thing. there is only 2 pumps they recommend for internal. 040 and 023. now i have alot of info but dont know which way to go. a 910 is sitting in my bedroom and not sure to mount it internal and take the risk of short life span or external.........decisions decisions ppl with 910 installed intank, pleaz speak out and let us know how its going and the age of the pump.
  18. dude i have a blitz access computer for r32 gtst manual, been told that it has better timing and mapping over standard but got no proof as i have never ran it. let me know if still looking to buy one.

dude giv me mate a call avi 0410-314-107
  20. i think i mite have it, will check the boxes in my shed and reply back.
  21. jus pulled out the pump in my car 2day, and guess wat i found....it has bare lug terminals on the pump and up on the top mounted plate there is 4 wires which are soldered onto solder tabs. i guess if the factory wasnt worried about exposed terminals inside the tank then why should i. i shud have checked this in the first place, rather then calling around which got me more confused.
  22. JimX - i am only repeating what i have been told, as said b4 it duznt add up in my opinion. Hence why i put the post up, i jus wanna see working examples from other peoples cars, that my best chance of getting answers. i have done my research but when u get big name companies (BD4's, Croyden, Powerflow, Unique) saying they are rite and the other companies are wrong then who do u beleive ???
  23. define ur install, where is the cooler sitting, how/where is it connected ??
  24. dudes, isnt 120-130 deg. quite high ??? i got a grex oil cooler and the oil temp sensor is off a sandwich plate where the oil filter is. on my gauge i dont think i have ever scene it above 100 deg, even after givin it a bit. mind u i have never been on the track.
  25. dude, i have seen a 910 infront of me today, it doesnt have sealed wires on the fly. all it has is a M4 and M5 bolt on top it for +ve and -ve, which means it cud short out wen u fill the tank up and boom! i called up powerflow injection in Victoria and the guy said 910 and 044 are external and 040 and the 500hp walbro pump is internal. he aslo said u cant put the original sock from standard pump to the 040 cauz it already has a metal mesh on it. he was saying to mount the 910 externally near the chassis and the hav the standard pump feeding it ???? duznt add up thats why i am keen to see other ppl installs, plz reply bak thanx
