  3. I ran a whiteline 24mm adj rear bar and the standard front (R33 gts-t) and loved it, was very neutral a lot of it is personal preference too

  5. Have you had the manifold independantly flow tested? Those gains in flow seem huge Im thinking the power gains are real, but im not so sure about the 50% increase in flow
  6. Haha I see your point a GT3040 will do 350+ on E85 so will give you headroom if you want to do bigger skids

They way I understand surge is that airflow stops because it cant go anywhere, except bleed back out the turbo inlet, so would I be rightin think that airflow stops or even reverses to an extent? I remember my old highflow would surge like crazy at around 3000rpm in 5th when cruising down the highway, send the PFC Haywire and the motor would cough and splutter then clean up for a few seconds and repeat could hear it surging a mile away...like a Chappel st VL lol driving down the highway going tutuutututut constantly

  13. the td04s are off the very old ej20s they went to IHI units not long after the wrx was introduced the 1j Didnt see boost until mids 4's from memory

  15. Ive seen Subi TD04s on a 1JZ was rubbish I would have a look at some of the smaller kando's the subi's units mostly have a weird 3 bolt pattern and turbine hosuings that will be too big for a twin application under 3L imo
  16. the compressor side isnt the issue, I'm sure the compressor wheel is great like most garrett GT turbos the turbine side is not so great so combine a not so great hot side with a really good comp side...and they don't perform like they should
