That above graph sums up perfectly why -5 cars will still be quicker at the strip than the RS' All the antilag/launch control in the world wont keep the tyres or clutch slipping to keep the engine at 8000rpm unless you have 1000+hp, the revs will drop back and it will fall off boost The other thing the graphs wont show is how long the RS's will take to come back on between gearshifts, Piggaz's car is near on instant, infact it was better than my old car, which I felt was about as instant as a turbo could possibly be. Ive been in a RS powered GTR once, and I was counting the seconds for boost to come between gearshifts, it reminded my of a mates GTR that had a T88-38gk on it, but without the 1000hp hit up top another mate had a 300zx with 2540's (near enough the same as RS') it was also laggy, and it had mega $$$ heads and manifolds on it, it was slower round QR than 300zx's with standard turbos and more weight

  4. they way it was explained to me, is that the sensor has a hard time picking up which of the slots it is reading, so it confuses itself

  6. Yeah fair enough then luckily Toyotas dont have a silly 360 optical CAS lol so its a case of being able to run closer to the edge safely when an ECU has more resolution and better control

  15. That last bit I dont fully understand 20deg of ingition timing on one ECU is the same as 20deg on any other ECU right? so I dont see how one can make more power than another
  16. Sounds like you made a wise desicion down the track you can always have the revalved if you feel the need
  17. I think a lot of it comes down to personal preference and History with that Brand No different to me liking Toyotas and Fords where some might like Holden and Nissan I wouldnt own another Rb25 because of the history of Issues I had with mine

  19. Thanks Dan I should clarify that the MV shift box doesnt do "drive" and shift by itself, but stops the auto having a heart attack if the Trans computer is pulled So I'll chuck a B&M or Hurst shifter at it so I can pretend its an R35 lol
  20. Wouldve been popping and farting due to the auto ecu's not using overrun fuel cut so you will pick up economy because you wont be using fuel on decel anymore check timing to be safe, but i doubt it will have changed (unless the autos run different timing at idle)
