    yep...but fun on boost though. Drove a 33 Gtst years ago that had one...was awesome fun when on the boil

    There is a fix for the clicking noise in the FAQ/DIY section as for the rest I would suggest checking the fuses and/or taking it to an aircon place

    So after 8-9 hours here is how it sits. GTR owners, you have it easy! And the damaged turbo sucks because the rear turbo looks perfect, but there is a fair bit of ceramic dust so it would only be a matter of time before it let go as well. Will update later today as its beer o'clock right now Cheers Andrew

    If you do want to build it, work out what you want to do with the car. If you want to change to larger turbo's down the track etc. But yeah, Pistons, Crank Collar, new bearings and buy the best oil pump you can afford, usual stuff. you will be looking at around $7k

    Yeah, I know mine will be slow around town, But I dont mind, I dont go about doing silly things on the roads any more. + I want an old school Jap style build...you know a few years ago when GTR's etc were cool when they had T51R's or T88s etc

    damn. 10:1 SR hey, would swing a T67 alright I think, but no matter what turbo an SR like a 1J needs 4000 on board before going any where.

    yeah split t04, I assume you never got my msg then lol yeah will be 1.5J down the track from the mega interwebs search I did full boost is reached not that far ( a few hundred rpm) higher that the t67 but comes on like a switch. Not a huge issue to me as it will be a street/strip car

    yeah but at 1600+kgs I will miss the low down boost, not that anything happens till 4k rpm anyway

    I have an auto, so will be sluggish off the line until 4k then it will be on like donkey kong lol
