haha very nice, I did a similar thing for a Holden V8, after I got fed up with sending the collets flying around the room by using a hammer a sock and a socket lol -

RB25 is 71.7 RB26 is 73.7 so maybe you have a 26 crank inside? and the RB26 is 2568cc from factory

sweet, so I wasn't far off with my estimates then and Yeah 17cm^2 I had a TD07S with the 14cm2 but it got stolen out of my garage, would've come in handy to try the smaller housing

good to hear, did you still have the standard torque converter? when are you seeing +ve pressure?...from all accounts Ive seen/read should be about 3700-3800 and all in just after 4k
