any 15+ year old car will have issues unfortunately. Hell 34Rs are getting to the age where their price will plummet due to age. I'm still finding it hard to justify 20k on another car when I could spend 10 on the Snoarer and it will be better/faster than 90% of GTRs out there

Adam - I dont know whether you like them or not, but what about 33 R's? Newer cars with some bugs Ironed out, and not much more $$ over the 32. That is the way my head wants to go + Im a tall f**ker and I remember trying to drive Michaels (babyskyline) car a few years back, and my knees were around my ears

these days you can, I wouldn't pay any more than 20k for a 32 R, unless it was a mint 94 V-Spec II

I stopped playing iRacing just after the NTM came out, really should get back into it, but it gets so fkn expensive after a while when trying to run in a full round. LFS physics aren't that crash hot, even GT5 is better than LFS now (it was tip top all those years ago tough)

my advise is, if you a worried about the age of the engine etc, is spend more on the purchase eg find one with a fresh engine and new turbos, sure you might have to spend 5k more initially, but saves you worrying about breaking stuff. But on the other hand stay away from ones claiming to have 100k spent on them very recently then all of a sudden up for sale for 20k. Find one with the basics done, fresh turbos, fresh engine & pfc or similar (built by a good builder) and talk to the workshop that did the work and be prepared to look at upwards of 10 cars until you find the perfect one for you. Im in the same boat as you, looking to grab one next year

+1 6 years of these forums and a few years on other ones, I still ask red-herrings every now and again. Best advice I can offer is that if you're not sure on something, google is your best friend, much quicker than posting a question and waiting for a reply, google usually links Stag/RB/Skyline questions back to this forum anyway.

I kind of agree there. you can make decent power with a 3" exhaust (lets face it, 3" is a big bloody exhaust for a 2.5L engine), but what would happen if you changed it to 3.5"? more power on the same boost is likely, not guaranteed though, so can be expensive to find out. So when I re-do the exhaust on my car It will be Dual 3" to make sure there is no way in hell it will give me any headaches
