  1. Not room to box the carb, and doing that still never works quite right, because the Carb then has no laminar airflow running through the ventruies, as its basically just stagnant air. Also doesnt solve the issue of the boost pressure forcing fuel back through the metering blocks and into the bowls.
  2. Steveo - You need anyone for Scuitineering or pitlane release bitch?
  3. Not many results around would be the main thing. Ive always looked at them as an alternate to a T04Z but too hard to find meaningfull results
  4. Lol yeha, I don't think they allow it anymore though, Maybe the Vic guys can comment on that
  5. Sounds like a great idea to me So are you going to run it as a sport sedan? in the National Series or the NSW state champs?
  6. High speed aero is a funny thing. Most cars will do the old ton (160km/h) even our 55kw cordia would do 160 pretty easily, but to get to 180 would need around double the power. There is a way of roughly working out how much power you need to get to a certain speed, but its late and CBF finding the formula. But as an example, I know of a 450rwkw BA XR6 turbo that over a 3km run hit 306km/h. Big car yes, but it gives you an idea, in fact the Drag co-efficant would be faily similar to the r32, which is like a block of flats. Anyway kinda off topic lol
  7. LOL thread is LOL worthy Without pointing out every flaw the OP has made. I'll just say this, Out of every R32 skyline that has run a real quick time around a track, how many are GTS-t's?
  8. This, wouldnt work, as i'd need a factory ECU to run the Emanage off Lol yeah Matty, toying with some ideas
  9. Because my mig got stolen do you wanna weld up a side pipe for my mighty Cordia race car? lol
  10. lol, standard ECU and 15psi. no wonder its having a heat attack.
  11. Not if its a .63 hosuing off a GT40 or something.
  12. Try the forsale section
  13. Aerodrome = 110 octane Low lead fuel But you need a permit to buy it these days, so take a mate who flies
  14. Cheers Hamish
  15. Bris - I know this isnt really related to cam gears, and it costs money. But have you thought about pulling the head off and having the ports tickled? Wouldnt need much, and I wouldn't go any larger in port volume, but I have no doubt there are REAL gains to be had with a bit of a grind, espesially on the exhaust side of the 20 Head. I would leave the standard cams as you are making power right through to the rev-cut, so unless you want another 1000rpm on top (which the 20g won't allow) I would definately leave the standard bump sticks, and as you found the the Apexi (I think) cams you went backwards. If you do want cams + more mid range, have a look at getting some custom cams ground, with a smidge more lift and LESS duration than standard. Anyhoo, hope you get it sorted Andrew Quick Edit - Bris, That little RB20 is making something like 210-220hp/L Pretty good when you think of it like that.
  16. Do I win something? A ride perhaps? Looks good Stu What series was it built for?

  21. Pete build a motor?.....yeah right haha.
  22. 2.4L hey? Sounds interesting
  23. You use a rising rate pressure reg to keep the fuel pressure up to the carb. The turbos dont mind the fuel, same as a WMI setup really.
