  1. Im kinda dissapointed in the car list Way to much emphasis on jap shopping trollies, it is good to see more yank cars than previous games though, just hope the sound is better than the previous 4 versions though. 31 GTS-R is a nice inclusion, but I would like to see some of the more less common yank cars like an oldsmobile 4-4-2 or a 1963 falcon sprint but either way I am very suprised the BOSS 302 mustang wasnt included. Oh well, Ill still buy it lol
  2. Hhahahha errrr Lol I are drinking so I guess I wont be there
  3. yeah for 300ish bucks its not really worth doing it yourself. Everything else I do though (deburring oil galleries/returns, cleaning the casting dags out of the ports etc) real port work I would leave to professionals as its very easy to go backwards.
  4. Hmmm, SHELL!!!! you can drive tonight!!@! So I can drink this time lol
  5. I might be out. See if I feel like drinking or not lol
  6. Ive seen a couple of those machines in action, impressive stuff, but yes very expensive. But yeah, I wouldnt be trusting myself on a freshly bored bore with a hand help hone, unless it was just for a factory style freshen up. its very easy to take too much meat out of the bores and have crap clearances
  7. saw a LM blue 33 gtr this morning on the monaro
  8. Really????, I thought just a honing tool and a drill is all that is needed Seems to work for most builds
  9. you can change when in the rev range with most aftermarket ecus, as for how much it can change the timing I doubt there is any way of modifying it.
  10. Lol Well you could always buy a 815cube 1800hp John Kaase crate big block. Cheaper than the Tomei RB28 Crate motor too lol
  11. You could do it for under 1000 bucks (quick hone, rings, bearings and a Factory gasket kit) But depends on what is broken inside as to what else you will need to replace
  12. Every work shop has horror stories mate.
  13. Yep, like my other pushrod cast iron v8 loving mates. race ready 500hp small block, yep ill take the one in blue
  14. And then speak to the poeple who have had no dramas with them at all....and make up your own mind
  15. I think they are exchange or sent your motor and they will rebuild it. I mean pure crat motor, ie pay on Monday and a big box of engine turns up later in the week.
  16. I got mine for nothing
  17. Stu...stop messing about with the pansy 346 cuber and get This http://www.youtube.com/user/SPEEDOMOTIVE#p/u/15/iuswdMLeo54
  18. There needs to be more crate motors avaliable for RB's without having to pay Tomei/Os Giken/Mines prices Surely someone can come up with a 5-6k rb crate motor
  19. If CP's, JE, Mahles, Ross, Probe etc etc were so bad, would they be used in 1000+hp Prostock motors, 1000+hp blown street motors etc etc? I cant say i have seen an engine fail due to a bit of slap when stone cold...if they were slapping when warm then the machinist/engien builder has f**ked it not the piston.
  20. GIVE IT A REST!
  21. That what im talking about!!@!@ Im building a 351 atm, simple because parts are so much cheaper, and they sound better...and well v8s are in the blood But yeah, good to hear you are keeping the current car.
  22. Even if it passes those tests...It is still illegal...the bonnet needs to be ADR approved
  23. Microtech sold pending payment
  24. Being that you can get CP's outta the states for under 1000 bucks. Its kind of a waste spending 700 more on "allegedly" better pistons, yet no real evidence they are better than anything else on the market.
