  5. Standard Internals ftw! If the 25 is dead than it is the perfect excuse to drop a RB30 back in and slap the 25 head on, a RB30 with a set of cast pistons, new rings and bearings will easy last years and years with a highflow turbo on the side.

  8. You make a fair point about having a work shop do your fuel system, then It becomes a reasonable price. But the majority of people on here who have neat/powerful street cars do a lot of their own work or at least like to do a few things themselves, which is one of the best things about SAU. As you would know setting up a surge tank (even and undercar one) is not hard, sure it might not win you a spot in the Summernats Elite hall, but will do the job. for a true streeter. Yes there are many people on here that are also chequebook racers/drivers so no doubt they will sell well, especially to the crowd who pay $500 for a plug and oil change. I also agree with Trent, Sell the lid seperate.

  11. DOesnt sound tuned properly if its running rich as hell. Do you have a cat converter?

  14. Im still not fussed on the Z-Tune tbh, yes its nice, but what does it offer over a mild V-Spec? not much really in my books. If I had 250K to blow I'd buy an R35 for the street and build a weapon R34 for the track/weekends. Buuuut then again being able to say I own a Z-tune might make it worth while lol
  15. That is exactly why Ive always wanted either a Sierra or Escort Cosworth, not to mention that the factory cosworth gear is bomb proof.

Man I love the detail in this, all the little things that people like me always want to do, such as the carbon bonnet pin surrounds and mirror mounts etc, but never happens, your car has it all, so neat. and dont sneeze at 30psi by 3500rpm most of us wish could get that in skylines. Hell my stock turbo soarer wouldnt get that lol.

  22. I agree Neil, The utes shit me, give proper race cars a run, they need to bring back the 3 hour event they had when the like of Bowe and Stokel were running around in Ferrari and Lambos. That was fun to watch.
  23. From what I have seen with A1000 pumps is that they really are a race use only pump, aimed at drag racing where they are only switched on for a few seconds. From memory they are a reconfigured carburettor pump so origionally designed to run at 7-10PSI, just happens that they are big enough to push 100psi when attached to a EFI reg. Doesnt help solve the issue I know, but just a heads up for the future. Same goes for most Yank Pumps (SX, Magna Fuel etc)
