rear end collision.... nothing to see, shows over, move along ...
-
just turn up to one of the club meetings where Jamezilla is in charge of the pc showing a slideshow, you'll get plenty of dirt without even asking for it
-
so some good additions would be a voltameter, water temp and oil temp, wonder if nengun sell a din mount for something like that. I can handle the stock boost guage being in the wierd rating it is..
-
just checked out nenguns site and realised i'm a toolhead, the standard GT-R dash has same limits as the standard GTS-T dash, it's the Nismo one thats got the higher spec'd guages. oh well, one day
-
heh, just read the next message, yeah, thats what i meant
-
hi paul, no i mean the whole thing. The cluster with higher spec speedo and tacho, as well as the three guages for boost, water temp and torque guage (which i know is useless on gts-t)
-
I was offered an R33 GT-R cluster and guage pod for $350 today, is that a reasonable price? mike
-
that explains why Freeway would not modify my parcel shelf to fit 6x9s in it, guess they knew.

i've had eMule looking for Conzult for a few days, so far only a few people sharing the free version.
-
i went to PLMS first but they are out of cables and wont have them until the end of the month, BlaZt are expecting more this thursday so they got my order, when i decide i want something, i want it YESTERDAY, heh!
-
sorry to hear about your mates car. as a new r33 owner i'm curious about something, did he have an alarm and what kind ?? When I got mine it had a shitty single point unit, so recently I bought a new three point alarm to replace it..

I vote for the glow in the dark lada coffee table ! mike

website... http://www.blazt.biz/300/interface/index.html mike
-
heya paul, did you have the same prob with throttle position sensing?
-
yeah the cable isnt too costly considering how neat and small it is.. better than making one up myself which would be big 'n' ugly. As for the throttle sensing, interesting, the software says it has been tested on an R33 so I would have thought it'd be more accurate than that. When i get mine i'll see what results i get. yeah, it is kinda Fast 'n' Furious, just wish i could get a real tiny pc for it. as it is i've got a smallish notebook spare that'll do just fine. As for a mate, yeah, good idea, dont wanna crash the 'line while checking out the stats , heh. could also use the logging i suppose.

does anyone here own one? because i'm a geek deep down I figured this would be a cool thing to play around with, so i've ordered the interface and datascan software. i'd be interested to hear from anyone thats got one and what they think of it.. mike
-
Anyone pulled one out of their Skyline ?? If you have and want to sell it contact me, i'm after one. Thanks, Mike
-
So what your saying then is stay away from SEI ?? In that case, any other shops in the Narre Warren/Dandenong/Springvale area anyone would care to recommend. Or is it worth taking it to Ice Performance? Mike
-
Hey everyone, My Skyline is heading towards it's first service since i've owned it, so i'm looking for a decent place to take it to. One place that i'm curious about is SEI Motors in Dandenong, these guys import Skylines and do the compliance work on them. Has anyone here taken their cars to them ?? FYI my R33 is factory stock except for the exhaust, no PFC or anything like that. mike
-
hey Rigga, when i was looking for a Skyline I was looking at carsales.com.au, and occasionally in Unique Cars magazine. Ended up buying from a guy that advertised on carsales. mike

yeah the Zen is nice, one good feature is the user replaceable battery, the Ipod has an internal battery that requires the unit to be pulled apart to be replaced, so it will cost $$$. But, the Ipod has one thing the Zen doesn't, head unit support. Alpine, Pioneer and some other head units have interfaces available that let you completely control the Ipod, and even show the track names and ID3 tags on the display, which to me is worth getting the 'pod. mike

yeah i'm rapt with it. dug out my ipod on the weekend, installed the car mount i bought for it and loaded it up with some beats... i'm happy mike
