  1. My rear mounted engine, hopefully will be running again in january
  2. Used for what ever needs a reference, I had this connected to it boost controller/guage Fuel pressure reg wastegate bov And I did use a fitting for air idle control valve from the intercoolering piping.....
  3. The neo head does have a smaller combustion chamber but the compression height in the neo pistions is different as well. I have a set of custom made CP pistons for a Neo engine for sale here, no four to six week wait to have them made..... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...l&p=5449423
  4. I have a set of CP Pistons for an RB25 Neo. These things aren't stocked by anyone and you have to order to be made from CP which take about 4 weeks. They are exact copies of factory pistons but they are 86.5mm. Other alternatives to CPs I have found were JUN ~$1900 and Arias ~$1700 Location: Brisbane, can post. Price: $1350 Contact: Through PM or 0431119536. Cheers, Alex.
  5. Unless you know exactly what its tuned for these things are complete waste of time. Standard untouched computers are more usefull......
  6. My oil return tube is about 100mm and i had to cut and weld it to a 15-20 degree angle because it was fowling the manifold. the oil returm hose touches the manifold. Its all worth it ......... I miss my car
  7. Should be on its way to a good home in Brisbane this weekend
  8. The only bad things I've found with neo is that you can't really get a multimeter into the connector for wirring harness to ecu and that parts are harder to come across.
  9. Having problems starting? I have not played with the Link software but I'm assuming you can correct for injector latency? Sard 850cc part #63507,red top have a latency of 0.8ms (from Webber's injector guide) Did you change over to a MAP sensor as well?
  10. Looking at the turbo from the exhaust housing side; at 12 o'clock is the oil feed (as shown in the third picture) at 3 o'clock is the water feed (can't be seen) at 6 ... oil return (notice its alot bigger line/fitting, goes to bottom of the block at 9 water feed
  11. How did your car go over the weekend? What times were you lapping? I'm pretty keen to head back out there again, would love to do more than just a one lap dash. Its a shame the council limits the days the track can be used....

    Good Tow Cars?

Dodge Ram STR10 BMW X5M Audi Q7 TTD Hah I wish.... I've been thinking about a short wheel base pajero as a daily/4wd that can tow, has anyone towed with one either 3.5 or 3.8ltr?
  13. I ran the water return to the heater lines, which i chopped up/got rid off.
  14. Doesn't matter if it one parcell or five customs can still count it as one consignment and you will have to pay tax/duties on it as I found out the hard way but hopefully not....
  15. Duncan any chance you have tried to fit 17" drifteks over 356mm fronts? I am seriously thinking about getting a set considering R33 Gtr calipers say $1800 new discs $700 pads $300 braided lines $200 =$3k And I think I have found a place that will do 356mm + 330mm kits delivered for $3000
  16. Bumping an old thread, if anyone else hase any more feedback and has tried the K-sport kits?
  17. Nice results, are you going to push it with more boost/revs?
  18. I don't know the full history of my engine, it has about 120 000kms on it. It had a genuine head gasket, bearings and timming belt in it So it doesn't look like the engine has been pulled apart. I realise the difference between the pistons, my pistons have the thinker top ringland. (should of said N1 type pistons) Also is "n" with a single dot above it are the markings for N1?Because my oil pump also has this marking. I could be wrong.... would be keen to hear from someone who has actually pulled a Neo apart. I'll be able to throw up a few pictures on here in a week.....
  19. I pulled apart my engine about two months ago and building a new one now.
  20. Not mine, I saw this at a sprint meeting at Morgan Park. The bit in the middle is a toolbox.
  21. Pistons are definately N1 so they are not the same. Oil pump is a N1 with a small crank collar.... can't remember rods.
