b005t, They do it in places where it is really hot to stop the rubber blades from melting/sticking to the windscreed due to the heat!!

I thought its just the usual noise of the RB generation engines. I have had a N/A VL with the RB30 which was imaculate and It only had 50'000 ks and it made a faint ticking noise, I also had a VL turbo RB30et which did the same thing and so does my skyline only very faintly, I may be wrong but thats what I thought, my 2 cents anyway Cheers JL

How obvious is the miss. I ask this because I think I have one but not sure. Its only on idle and it is no that obvious but my car just came back from the workshop after have rear main seal, head gasket, new cam belt and all new engine hoses done and the idle is not as smooth as it once was, Thanks JL

Hi guys, I get the same thing when the car is cold. I agree with Ait when he says its the fuel mixtures on start up. It goes away after a couple of mins when the car starts to warm up. If it was a real problem I dont think it would just stop when the car is warm. I could be wrong but thats all i think it is. Good luck with it anyway, Cheers Jamie PS let me know if you find a way to stop it!!!

SS8_GOHAN Hey man, That Black 32 GTR belongs to my mate I was telling you about. Its Running 18psi, still needs to be properly tuned but it gose like a bat out of hell. I love the standard wheels, looks bloddy tuff!! (Hope that is the one you are talking about) PS/ I live in Hampton Cheers Jamie

R31 Chick Nice screensaver, If you can instead of music maybe some "soundwave files" of skylines if you know what I mean. Maybe have both music and in the backgroung have soundwaves of the RB engines. Maybe????? Just an idea!!

I am looking at a new turbo maybe a GT2540 not sure yet. But first I am having a fmic put on by Ice Performance and running on 12psi. Also getting cat redone and a new turbo dump pipe. Plus My actuator is stuffed so that is also getting fixed. This should be going ahead in the next month. It should go much better after all of that is done. :burnout:
